Talking Club in School Persuasive Essay Sample

Do all students have time to talk with one-another in between classes? No! One club that I would like the school to offer is a talking club. Not all students have time to talk with one another between classes or after school; therefore, they might be left with some unanswered questions. They could also be left without a friend to talk to. This club might consist of an empty classroom with some drinks and light snacks to talk over. Students can do homework or just chat about hobbies. This would be a great idea for a lot of different reasons.

One reason that this club could help students is for homework and other clarifying questions. Did you not hear a teacher give out an assignment? Are you stressed about an upcoming test? Do you need extra time to work on a group assignment? This chatter club would be a great idea for students with academic questions or lack working time. This room would be a great place to get work done with friends while having a quick snack. Once you are signed up for this club you would be free to make your own groups filled with friends or partners. Some students are not able to contact each other after school to talk about work; moreover, his club would help these students who prefer working in person. Although this club will work for many students, there are some arguments that could be made. 

Some students may not have any need for this week's Chatter Club. That is completely fine and can be solved by not attending or just going for the snacks. Not all students would have a need for this club but if you ever felt like taking part, you could just sign up with a friend for some easy chatting time after school. This room could get very noisy and be a disturbance to some people trying to get important work done. If the groups are well spread out and not completely yelling, you should be able to hear your friend talk about homework, while other students are talking on the other side of the room. Overall, I think that there are few concerns with this club idea, and it could be a great solution for many students. 

Not only would this Club be a great place for students who desire to get work done, but it would be a welcoming environment for students that want to just hang out with their friends or play games. Some students might not have a lot of free time with friends, or want to chat about pastimes after school. This would be the perfect place to do that over some munchings. There isn't a lot of time to talk with friends during school hours, besides lunch and brief breaks in  between periods. The Chatter Club would help eliminate this problem and provide an embracing setting for students with all different types of needs. 

A lot of students need extra time to talk about work or socialize with their friends; therefore, the Chatter Club would be an amazing addition to our school. This club would help many students with extra questions about assignments, as well as students who just want to socialize with their friends.
