Many citizens know Christian, Jewish and Islamic faiths. In the United States, these religions are quite common. Throughout the world, people worship and believe in these faiths. All these faiths have a mutual bond in this article.

Judaism was founded by Jews as a common religion. Much of Judaism and Islam are remarkably similar in how they perceive Allah. Islam and Judaism are firmly monotheistic religions. Allah's God's Arabic name. The word of Allah in Arabic has language connotations that are not shared with God in English. For example, Allah's word should not be rendered plural as God's word. Judaism and Islam have both in common in that they both fast. Fasting is where they do not feed until dawn and after sunset so that they are connected to God more closely and it often serves as a manner of devotion. Fasting in Ramadan means no food or drink from sunrise to sunset, including water and gum. Muslims should eat a pre-fast meal, before sunrise.  When fasting happens, it shows that they are very serious about becoming closer to God and showing him that they can do what he has done.

Many variations and similarities exist among the Jews and the Christian community. One of the differences is the ritual and worship of Judaism, from Friday evening to Saturday evening, and of Christianity to the holy week on Sunday.  It tells me that there are other faiths with different ideologies with the relation to being Christians, so it is remarkably important to get to know them and understand more and my faith as I grow up. With using the notes of Basic Jewish Concepts One, it stated that “Judaism believes that each individual has a part of themselves that is distinct from the physical body. It is this part that is created in God’s image, and that longs to be in harmony with God. This view of the soul is shared by the Christian and Muslim faiths as well.” In this it says that Judaism and Christianity believe in the way God makes us all who we are today.  Much Judaism demonstrated to me that in many respects Christianity and Judaism are close. All these religions are said to worship the same god, the same birth ceremonies and funeral ceremonies.

Islam is also a well-known religion which contains the five pillars of faith, under which Muslims are supported throughout their lives. The Five Pillars of Faith are prayers, giving, fasting, and pilgrimage. This belief is very popular for many people in the United States. Islam has been growing fast, along with many people from overseas coming to be an American.  Islam has many similarities and differences between Christianity as well.
