Theme of Support in Finding Nemo and Space Jam Movies (Essay Example)

We live in a world where we can't all function on our own, everyone is helping and supporting eachother everyday. Realizing the major effect support has on the world would be life changing. Recieving support from others can help you achieve success by helping you overcome life's challenges and by giving you confidence to believe in yourself. 

Without a doubt recieving support can help you overcome life's challenges. For instance, Marlon, who is from Pixar movie "Finding Nemo" illustrates the importance of how support helps overcoming challenges. In the movie "Finding Nemo", Marlon and his son Nemo are doing their normal everyday routine. On the way to school that day, there are fishermen who lease a very large net into the ocean to catch fish. Nemo and Marlon are caught along with thousands of other fish. The two clownfish desperately try to get to eachother but Marlon get stuck while Nemo escapes. Nemo being a young fish trys to find his dad to save him but to no prevail can't. Nemo is no match against the other thousands of fish and the fishnet. He is now all alone in a giant ocean fatherless, but he still doesn't give up. Meanwhile, Marlon is bumping, pushing, and doing whatever it takes to escape the net. As soon as the large net collasped on the boat, Marlon acts in the moment and flops back into the ocean only to realize that he is very far away from home. Marlon quickly starts asking around about Nemo only to find out he is far way in sydney! Marlon journeys far and long for poor Nemo. There was a time when Marlon almost gave up on his little son Nemo. That was until he met Dory. Although Dory had short term memory loss, she still gave Marlon the help and support he needed. With Dory's help and support, Marlon persevered and found his son who needed to be rescued from a dentist office. As you can see, Marlon felt defeated and almost gave up on Nemo but with the right support he found his beloved son, Nemo. 

Another way support helps you attain sucess is by raising your confidence to believe in yourself. For example, Micheal Jordan, who is from basketball movie "Space Jam" shows how support gives you confidence to believe in yourself. In the beginning of basketball movie "Space Jam", Micheal Jordan had just retired basketball, ready to start a baseball career just like his dad wanted him to. On the weekend Micheal was playing golf with his friend Larry Bird and Bill Murray. During that day MIcheal went to retrieve the ball from the hole only to be yanked underground by a strange force. When he came to his senses, he saw Bugs Bunny and that he was in Loony Tune world. Bugs and all the other characters had a problem. They needed to win a game against the evil goon squad. Bugs thought they couldn't win alone so they need Micheal. Micheal only had 24 hours to train them. 24 hours later the tune squad was pumped and ready. During the first half they were great, but from that point on was downhill. Then halftime came and Micheal spoke with his team. They were all discouraged and afraid to play against the gigantic goon squad. Micheal knew exactly what they needed. A motivational speech and emotional support. Micheal knew what they were going throught because he too has been in this postion many times before during his career. After halftime, the loony team was phenomenal. They ended up destroying the goon squad. Getting the support you need can get your mind flowing with confidence and make you the best you.

Without a doubt we will all need support to get us going, but whether you accept the help is up to you.
