Meetings in the workplace are essential in order to discuss certain issues. Meetings should be kept innovative to keep the colleagues interested. Meetings tend to have a negative outcome due to improper planning which leads to colleagues losing interest in meetings especially early into the meeting. Meetings at work instead can be beneficial towards the growth of an organisation while also enabling correct decision-making. In this essay, the points I will be discussing will be in relation to how employees can participate effectively in meetings, the rules of an effective meeting, and what factors can cause a meeting to be ineffective.

It can be freeing almost as we have the necessary energy to accomplish tasks we wouldn't normally have the energy to do so when we hold meetings they become effective by how we manage and direct them. Another factor is organisational skills personally when I'm disorganised I tend to forget important events. This is what leads to ineffective meetings as mentioned previously.
