Essay Sample on A Brief Biography on Jackie Chan

Have you ever heard of this quote? “Life will knock us down, but we can choose whether or not to stand back up”. It was once said by Jackie Chan, or his nickname Pao Pao.Jackie has helped me through my childhood.I have been watching him since I was 7.When Jackie comes up in tv it reminds me of all the memories I have made with my family.

Jackie Chanwas born in Hong Kong,China. His birth name is Chan Kong-sang. He was born on April 7, 1954 so basically he is a aries. His birth situation was kinda hard. His mother had to have surgery in order to give birth to Jackie Chan. His childhood was not that good. His mother was a smuggler and his dad was very strict with everything he wanted to do but other than that he was a director,body guard,and more.He also has four siblings named Fang Shide, Guilan Chan, Fang Shisheng, and Yulan Chan.He experienced many thing like moving to Australia when he was only seven .His parents later forced him to go back to Hong Kong to attend a boarding school for 10 years. The reason his parents wanted him to go to that bording school was because, it would train him for Jinxsi.

His first film was called BIig and Little Wong Tin Bar . Later on when he turned 17 he decided he wanted to start being a stunt man for movies . After a couple years he got a huge opportunity to be Bruce Lee stuntman for pictures. After that he started trying to find other stuntman jobs. Other than being a stuntman he graduated high school and got to be in “Fist of Fury”.

Later on when Bruce Lee  passed, Jackie got more opportunities because many movies were looking for replacements like, Rush Hour, Mr.Nice guy, and more. In movies he plays his own stunts and receives more money from it. Later on he got to act in Rush 2 and 3. He later married Lin Feng-jiao who is an actress. They had one son named Jaycee who is a actress and singer. He also has two kids with Miss Asia but they had an affair. After a couple years  around 2008 he got to be the voice of Master Monkey in Kong Fu Panda.

Jackie Chan has been in many other movies and even won a award for his hard work. Other than Bruce Lee he has been a great martial artist, actor, and stuntman.The reason I explained all this is because he is a great man and is in all of my favorite movies. Im pretty sure many of yall have seen his movies.I have seen most of them and they all make me laugh.
