Respect is a very hard thing to earn when lost. It is used in many ways, shapes, and forms. It can be gained through integrity. Respect is important to have in order to be taken seriously. With respect, the spectrum of self-work falls into place. Someone might want to gain respect to be bettering themselves and the person from whom would be giving respect. Respect applies to everything such as presentations or conversations. It is constantly demanded with professions, as well as an expectation. It is expected to have respect even when respect is not received. Respect is not really even given respect is based on the good and will of a person.

Talking more about how respect is applied with integrity. As stated respect is tied to the good and will of a person. That is what integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching. Thus showing the good and will of a person but how can respect be lost. Doing things such as not being dependable as a person, unpredictably disrespectful showing zero self-discipline, are some of the many ways respect can be lost. Respect also comes with much responsibility you must be responsible not lose it by doing something that is the complete opposite of what you as a person stand for. Say that a person respects you for being yourself or the complete opposite it only makes sense that if you change the exact reason they respected you they would lose the respect or find another way to respect you.

So why should you not give someone your respect, while there are a lot of reasons, you need to ask yourself a simple question do they deserve it. It is only human nature to be curious about what changing perspectives of a person can do. But what does respecting someone or thing mean to you. I do not think people ever talk about just how fragile respect is. Once lost it can take minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years before it can be regained or never.  By respecting something it can be to appreciate something or to follow guidelines. So how can loyalty be linked to repeat? Being loyal is something that can show honest work and passion about a person, palace or thing.

If you are not true to yourself how can others be true to you? The quick answer is that they can’t, they cannot trust you if you do not first show that you are trustworthy. Because you have to be able to trust someone in order to Instow something as great as to respect them. You can show someone respect by listening to others, affirming people's opinions, empathizing with different perspectives, disagreeing respectfully, Apologizing when you're in the wrong, calling out disrespectful behavior, showing gratitude, complimenting the achievements of others. Everyone deserves respect until they lose it. Until the day that they disrespect you it is then your choice to lose the respect or to continue respecting them and it takes a lot of self-control to do either.
