If these invasive species are costing us hundreds of millions of dollars then that state where they are will run lower on money, and if they are low in money then they cant buy some things. Another example I found is, “Zebras also create problems for boaters and lakefront land owners by attaching themselves to boat hulls and motors, docks, and bulkheads.(source 1 paragraph 2)” If these creatures keep doin that type of stuff then they can ruin boats and stuff and once again costing us humans a lot of money. Those are ways they cost us money.

Once again if these other species have no food they will die eventually and i don't think anyone wants these fish to die. There are more reasons why these invasive species are hurting the world.
