Loads of literature revolves around the topic of love but what is love? Love is an emotion. It is a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties. People read stories about love to exercise the imagination, to meet characters and get lost in their world, make value judgements, etc. Shakespeare is a famous writer who used to write plays and poems between about 1590 and 1613, He wrote at least 37 plays. One of his most famous plays was Romeo and Juliet and the story revolves around the topic of Love. They fall in love with each other at first site, but a series of unfortunate events leads to their deaths. This tragedy was heartbreaking, but the couple’s actions are meant to show how two individuals in love should be like. They should be willing to die for each other and always want to be together and face all the worlds’ problems as one. The two love each other so much that they killed themselves thinking that the other was dead. Romeo and Juliet are the ultimate romantic couple because they fell in love as soon as they laid their eyes on each other and shared a kiss and they cannot live without one another.

One of the main reasons that Romeo and Juliet are the ultimate romantic couple is that the two fell in love with one another as soon as they laid their eyes on each other and shared a passionate kiss. For example, when Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time, and they kiss each other, Romeo pleads, “Give me my sin again.” (I.v.112) and Juliet mentions, “You kiss by th’ book.” (I.v.113). This conveys that Romeo was ready to commit any sin for a kiss from Juliet which displays that he started loving Juliet from the moment he saw her and kissed her lips. Juliet enjoys the kiss as well because she states that Romeo kissed her like he had studied how to kiss someone from books. Furthermore, they both wanted each other eagerly after getting a glance of one another. In fact, the vigorous kiss made them feel more connected and could not stop thinking about each other after the Capulet’s party ended, where Romeo had met Juliet after sneaking in with his friends. Hence, one of the primary reasons that Romeo and Juliet are the optimum couple is that they fell in love at first sight and kissed one another with so much affection and excitement.

Another major reason that Romeo and Juliet are the perfect couple is that the two cannot live without each other. For example, when the Nurse tells Juliet the news about Romeo’s banishment, Juliet states, “All slain, all dead./’Romeo is banishèd- /There is end, no limit, measure, bound,/ In that word’s death; no words can that woe sound.” (III.ii.124-126). This portrays how devastated Juliet is by hearing the news of Romeo being banished from Verona as his punishment for killing Tybalt. In addition, this displays that they cannot live without one another as the word ‘banishment’ alone fills Juliet’s heart with an extreme amount of pain as she claims that there is no limit to that pain. In truth, the two would rather be dead than live without each other. Nothing is worse than the sound of the word ‘banishment’ for the two lovers. Romeo being repatriated from Verona means that the two won’t be able to see his wife, Juliet, as he is at the risk of being captured and killed for being spotted in the city according to the Prince’s order. Therefore, another one of the primary reasons that Romeo and Juliet are the greatest romantic couple is that they cannot live without one another.

Some people might say that Romeo and Juliet are not the ideal amorous couple because they are too young to be in love. Love is an emotion, which means anyone can feel it, doesn’t matter what their age is. People say that they’re too young to fall in love with one another because they might not have experienced it by themselves at that age. They might also say that Romeo and Juliet are not the best romantic couple because they might be misunderstanding their feeling of lust and physical attraction with the actual emotion of love. However, they are wrong because both Romeo and Juliet felt the emotion of love as soon as they saw each other and kissed. These people are also not considering the fact that both cannot live without one another and would rather die than be separated. Two beings in love cannot live without each other and that is a true statement. A person falls in love physically and mentally, so they automatically have lustful feelings for that person and find them physically attractive as well. This exhibits that the two are truly in love despite their young age and having lustful feelings and physical attraction for one another.

There are many reasons why Romeo and Juliet are considered the utmost couple, including the fact that they both instantly fell in love at first sight and kissed and moreover that the two cannot live apart from each other. These two might be young but they were instantly attracted by one another and shared a kiss that was a sin as the two weren’t married yet. They were willing to kiss each other even thought it was a sin, which reveals that they were truly in love. A person in love will do anything for their significant other. Anything means the will to die for them as well. Romeo and Juliet could not continue to live without having each other around and were willing to risk their lives just to see one another. That proclaims that the two indeed loved each other and would die if they didn’t get to see one another. Some people might say that they are too young or confuse their lustful feelings with the emotion of love. They are not ignoring the truth that two people in love automatically have lustful feelings towards one another and being young doesn’t mean they can’t love someone. In conclusion, Romeo and Juliet are the topmost romantic couple because they were in love from the moment they laid their eyes on each other and shared a kiss and cannot live apart from one another.
