Europe was most significantly affected by the convergence of ideas and people. This is because of the Silk Road and how it helped spread cultures, religions, and languages which helped more people around the world be able to communicate. The Black Death is another way Europe was affected because the Black Death helped end Feudalism and it also helped with jobs. The Enlightenment also helped because it left people more open minded.

One of the reasons Europe was most significantly affected by the convergence of ideas and people was because of the Silk Road. The Silk Road helped change a lot of things but ultimately it changed Europe the most. The advances in technology and the increase in political stability caused an increase of trade. What also made the trade higher was the Imperial Senate made it illegal for men to wear silk but the prohibition did not last. The demand for silk continued to bring trade to the Roman Empire and other European countries. The trade helped more people become more relevant with the idea that people are different and it is ok for them to be different. It also helped with communication between different countries and empires. What also helped was in the late 1800 social imperialism increase, they believed that it had calmed domestic and social problems and overall unified the nation. Due to the demand for silk and the making of the Silk Road, people who speak so many different languages and are all different religions and cultures brought it to other parts of the world. More and more people became more understanding and it helped unify Europe.

Other than the Silk Road, the Black Death was also a huge part in Europe being the most significantly affected by the convergence of people and ideas. The Black Death helped end Feudalism which allowed more respect to the community and the country. It also helped people get jobs and it also ended serfdom. The end in serfdom allowed there to be paying jobs and it helped people to become more respectful and it brought people and Europe together. The way the Black Death helped end Feudalism was because there was a sudden drop in the population so there was labor shortages. They then used serfs as workers and paid them which put serfdom to an end. The population then had increased because the serfs were now allowed to marry whoever and whenever they wanted and they could have as many children as they wanted so the population numbers rose. The Black Death helped end Feudalism but it didn't exactly help bring people together. After the plague, people were terrified to see anyone because they were afraid that they were going to get the plague which didn't help the social side of things. After a while people started to go out more and then people started to come together and be unified.

Lastly the Enlightenment played a role on why Europe was most significantly affected by the convergence of ideas and people. The Enlightenment helped change Europe and many other countries in so many ways but it helped Europe become unified because it left people more open minded. The Enlightenment helped establish science as a source of knowledge and it produced many books, laws, revolutions, wars, and essays; it also helped stop the excesses of the church. The Enlightenment gave us modern schooling, medicine, Representative Democracy and Republics, it also proved laws and rules. One of the most important impacts from the Enlightenment was Democracy and equality. It helped bring people together and make more people equal and stopped the separation between different types of people. People also believe that the enlightenment caused the french revolution and american revolution or at least it was a result of it. In the end the Enlightenment helped bring people together to make Europe equal and it also left people more open minded.

Although Europe was the most affected b y the convergence of ideas and people, Asia was also affected too. Just like Europe, Asia was affected by the silk road. The silk road went to Asia and it also brought different languages, cultures and religions. I wouldn't say Asia was more affected by the convergence of ideas and people but it is affected a lot just like europe.
