Positive Effects of Internet Argumentative Essay

Today in the digital age, life without the internet is unimaginable. The use of the internet makes life easier and faster. Internet is a revolution in information technology. There are inevitably positive and negative aspects of internet use. But I firmly believe that the internet has a mostly positive effect on life.  In the following paragraph, I will substantiate my claim with various examples. 

Firstly, The development of the internet and globalization make communication simple, easy, and more diverse. People can communicate effectively at all levels, from professional to personal. Facilities like voice call, video call, email, texting, video conferencing enhance its usefulness. The globalization of the internet creates a virtual world that develops a sense of closeness among people. With online communications, faraway family members can keep in touch with each other. The experiences I have considerably shaped my opinion, I admit. Since I live away from my family due to my job, it sometimes takes several months to return home. Due to the internet facility, I can contact my parents at any time I want. Through video calls, my parents and I sometimes prepare food and eat together, which feels as if we are together at the same place. That is possible only for the proliferation of internet use.

Secondly, the other advantage of internet use is online education. It gives education a new face. There are now many online programs available, which are beneficial to people. People can select their preferred program at their convenience. Furthermore, traveling was not possible due to the covid19 situation the online learning platform became very beneficial for international students. That enables them to continue their education without any interruption. Drawing from my own experience, I have a friend who lives in India, got an acceptance letter from one of the US universities for master's admission last year. However, due to the pandemic travel restriction,  she could not travel for enrollment. That was very disheartening for her.  Since universities also offered online courses, she was able to take these and continue her studies.  Due to the globalization of the internet, that was possible.

In conclusion, I believe that the widespread of the internet positively affects our lives. Additionally, with the reasons provided above paragraph internet also helps in other aspects of our life like online ordering, buying, sharing moments with a friend, and providing global events and news.
