A committed leader is one who defends their empire to the fullest extent of their power. Napoleon was a strong leader who was respected all throughout the world. He had courageous military skills that led to many successes and very few losses. Napoleon was able to show his dominance through building a relationship of trust and assertiveness with his French troops. He was also able to maintain power through the Strategy he used to gain success on the battlefield. Napoleon was able to unite France through the enforcement of strong policies that helped solve many issues. Through Napoleon's forceful efforts to command the military and unite French society, he was able to gain victories throughout Europe, and a stronger military, which ultimately was because of his strong leadership and communication skills.

Napoleon built a relationship on trust and assertiveness with his French troops. Napoleon wanted his troops to show loyalty and devotion towards his empire. Through a forceful manner, he motivated and inspired his troops to unite. Napoleon did this through motivational speeches. He would lecture the military at any time before going into battle. Napoleon was very committed to success in his military operations (GOODLAD). He did not want any major complications.  Napoleon showed loyalty to his troops through his strong leadership over the empire. He would join troops on the battlefield. He would physically get down into the dirt. This represented his loyalty to the empire and to his military.  Napoleon recognized those who demonstrated loyalty to French society and the military. Napoleon rewarded certain people in troops for their commitment to the empire. Napoleon wanted his troops to be motivated to work harder. The troops would gain more rewards by doing this; therefore Napoleon was making them stronger and further stretching their military potential. Napoleon wanted a loyal and strong military that would do anything he wanted. Napoleon gained so much of his troops trust that the troops would go on dangerous and suicidal missions if he asked them to. Napoleon had the trust of all of his men, which was quite significant (GOODLAD).

Napoleon was adamant about the strategy he used to gain success on the battlefield. Napoleon was a strong commander. His strategic mindset led him to overpower enemies' armies. Napoleon broke up his  military troops into separate platoons. However, all of his troops still went in the same direction. The goal of this operation was to split up the opposing side's military and then defeat them separately (The Napoleonic Wars). Napoleon used this in order to overwhelm the opposing force. By separating the enemy Napoleon managed to outnumber the enemies and defeat them.  This battle strategy was used by Napoleon in all of his victories. He rarely lost, which proved what a strong leader he was (GOODLAD). Napoleon was a great general in the military. Napoleon was known for his excellent memory and power of work, which allowed him to have close watch over numerous troop movements. He was able to strategize and analyze complete visions of how the battle would lay out. Napoleon’s successful strategies allowed him to have an advantage on the battlefield. Napoleon was a well-known general in French Society. He commanded extremely large armies and was able to improvise on the spot in stressful situations. Napoleon believed that the qualities of a good general were the ability to improvise  on the spot. He used his fast thinking to help him reagrange large troops in a tight situation (GOODLAD).

Napoleon enforced strong policies that helped solve many issues in French society. Under Napoleon's rule as emperor he improved the quality of living for many French people. Napoleon made a group of  strictly maintained laws called the Napoleonic Code.(Napoleon's empire) This resolved the government's corrupt policies and laws. Napoleon was not just a great general and military leader, but he was also a great ruler. Napoleon managed to fix an unjust legal system. He had been able to unite a very broken France. The laws helped Napoleon maintain his power and keep authority over the empire. Napoleon wanted to reform as many faulty parts of the French system as possible. In order to make France a more united place, he created currency reforms and improved taxation in the government.  This solved any money issues that the French were dealing with because of the French Revolution . The improved  economic system helped fix all the poor infrastructure problems. The education system was also reformed from that which had previously existed.  The previous education system would reward those who came from fortunate backgrounds. Napoleon believed in equality among all men. It did not matter which social class they were in and built on equality of revolution, including freedom of religions. Napoleon was a great emperor since he dealt with numerous underlying issues in the French government and society . He accomplished many things(OverSimplified). 

Napoleon's success throughout his life was due to him being able to build a relationship of trust and assertiveness with his French troops. He was also able to maintain power through the Strategy he used to gain success on the battlefield. Napoleon was able to unite France through the enforcement of strong policies that helped solve many issues. Napoleon's ability as an emperor and general led the French to prosper and claim victory. He was able to gain his troops respect, which made it easier to organize, and it made the troops more willing to correspond.  Napoleon also solved many of the economic and underlying problems that were left after the French Revolution. Napoleon was one of the greatest military minds of his time.  The tactics that Napoleon used during battle were available to other generals, but he was the only one who was able to pull it off with flying colors.(goodlad).
