In Shakespeare's tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, Romeo Montague is a young boy who lives in Verona. Romeo had been falling for a girl named Rosaline, who did not love him back. Shortly after Romeo met Juliet which made him forget about Rosaline and he was deeply in love. During the story of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo did not always love Juliet. Romeo thought that he was in love with a girl named Rosaline but Rosaline had no intentions of having a future with Romeo with Juliet. Tybalt and Romeo had always had a rough go but when Romeo married Juliet, he felt like he was family and despite the differences, they had to come to be friends because, after all, they were cousins-in laws. Throughout the entire story, Romeo always made decisions at the spur of the moment. For instance, Romeo decided that it was a good idea to go to the party to which he was accidentally invited. Overall Romeo is a more dynamic character because he changed his mind a lot; he had a change in love and changed his view on his relationship with Tybalt. ..

Romeo is a very dynamic character, in a way that he always tends to change his mind, in one case Romeo decided he loved Juliet and left Rosaline in the dust. Romeo and Juliet both decided that it would be a good idea and add to the stress of the family's rivalry and get married. Of course, they were hoping to eliminate the war between the Montagues and Capulets whenever they told the family members. One day Romeo received an invitation to a party that was accidentally misaddressed, knowing Romeo he had mixed feelings about going to the party. Deep down he knew that he should not go because if he attended this party more unwanted drama would come out of it. Romeo decided that he was going to attend this party and when he did not, all bad came out of it. He spotted this girl and described her like this, “So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows”(1.5.47). Romeo is describing Juliet as a snowy dove that is walking with crows, meaning that Juliet is popping out of the crowd and is very noticeable to him. Romeo switching his love shows that he is a very dynamic character and will do one thing and switch the next second. “Alas that love, whose view is muffled still”(1.1.165). Romeo would tend to bring up love quite often. In the end, Romeo had changed his love from Rosaline to Juliet which shows that he is a more dynamic character.

After the marriage of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo knew that Tybalt was family by marriage. Although that message of Romeo trying to make amends with Tybalt was not passed on clearly, Romeo unintentionally got rid of Tybalt by accidentally killing him. In the beginning of the story Romeo was always ready to argue with Tybalt but once Romeo took Juliet's hand in marriage that all changed. When Romeo had heard about Mercutio's death Romeo was angered and decided to go and fight Tybalt. “My gentleman, the prince's near ally, My friend, hath got his mortal hurt on my behalf; my reputation stained with Tybalt's slander-Tybalt, then an honor Hath been my cousin”(3.1.105-109). Although Romeo had no intentions of killing Tybalt, Romeo was not sorrowful but was more worried about his reputation. Romeo's feelings for Tybalt were not consistent. After the death of Tybalt, Romeo began worrying about his reputation rather than his family member who passed away. “I do protest I never injured thee”(3.1.65). Romeo had never tried to hurt Tybalt in any situation. This quote shows that he had never had any intention to kill.

Romeo was always the spur of the moment type of person, he got married on split of the second decision and much more. During the story Romeo decided to marry Juliet three days after he met her. “For by your leaves, you shall not stay alone Till Holy Church incorporate two in one”(2.6.37). A few days after Romeo and Juliet had met, the two decided that they wanted to get married, so they went to Friar Lawrence. Friar Lawerence was a pastor who was not on a side of the Montague, Capulete debate. When he married the two all had hopes that the dispute would end. When Romeo decided that he was going to sneak into Juliet's garden he decided to do that on the spot.  “But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon”(2.2.2-4).  At the beginning of the story, Romeo acted like the type of person who would not sneak into places or get married three days after the meeting of someone.

In conclusion, throughout the story, Romeo had multiple love interests, from Rosaline to Juliet. In the beginning, Romeo and Tybalt got after it but when Romeo married Juliet, he kept in mind that Tybalt was family and tried to keep the arguing to a minimum. After all, Romeo was a very spur-of-the-moment kind of guy. He likes to make decisions on the spot and very quickly. In choosing static or dynamic, Romeo would be dynamic because he was always changing his mind from his choice or love, to his relationship with Tybalt. Romeo is a dynamic character.
