To Be or Not To Be shows how Hamlet is a human and how he is a hurt person who doesn’t know if he should do away with his life or should he accept that his father wants him to kill Claudius to put his soul to proper rest.

I decided to analyze Hamlet’s To Be or Not To Be Scene because they described ways of Ethos,Pathos, and Logos and how they are used in The To Be or Not To Be part of the play and how To Be or Not To Be organized Hamlet’s thoughts on his plot for Revenge against Claudius. The audience will understand how Hamlet demonstrates how he is contemplating the condition of himself and his past mistakes and many decisions that he has to make in order to make the play move on. Hamlet’s soliloquy tells the audience that there’s many choices in life that you must pick and choose. He has experienced many bad and negative situations and he doesn’t know how to move on from them and what else he can do with his life.

The occasion of this scene was due to Hamlet being sick of acting crazy in front of the other people in the play. What also helped to drive him to ultimate madness was his long talk/argument with Gertrude and him killing Polonius after him thinking that he was Claudius who was spying on Hamlet and trying to understand what he was planning about. Hamlet ended up becoming more mad and suicidal because everything he could imagine slips form his fingers and he can’t control the situations he get himself in and he’s lost in his own mind now and decisions wrap around his mind while trying to follow Old King Hamlet’s words to him about killing Claudius to avenge his death and to make himself feel better and questioning himself and putting together the what ifs yet nothing is working for him because he doesn’t want to try to solve his situation at all.

During Act 3 Scene 1 Claudius,Gertrude,Polonius,Ophelia,Rosencrantz, and Guildenstern come into the room and they discuss amongst themselves why Hamlet could be acting crazy when he is just putting on an act to distract them to avoid them from thinking that he was the person who was going to kill Claudius. Claudius thought that Hamlet’s love for Ophelia was driving him mad in a romantic and loving way because they broke up and they haven’t seen each other for a while but that doesn’t make sense because Hamlet was arguing with Ophelia about their relationship and was angry because she didn’t give him attention and didn’t attend to his wants and needs as his girlfriend. He mainly did this to use her as a scapegoat to help him move on with his life. Hamlet’s attitude towards Ophelia made Ophelia burst into tears because she didn’t know how to handle Hamlet’s raw anger towards her.
