Are Electric Cars the Future of Transportation?
I believe electric cars are the future of transportation. Electric cars have minimal moving parts and they are eco-friendly as well as being able to drive long-distances. Future thinkers such as Elon Musk also believe that electric cars will eventually be able to out-perform their gasoline counterparts. Electric Vehicles (EV’s) have a more futuristic design than gasoline cars. Just compare the Tesla Model 3 with a Toyota. Tesla is so much more interesting and more appealing to consumers.
EV’s will eventually take to the skies and even the ocean. This is because EV’s are extremely versatile because all they need is a battery and motors to be able to drive, fly or even swim! Today, global warming is a huge threat to our species, and as of now the best way to delay the chaotic effects of global warming is to use renewable energy.
EV’s can be used in a multitude of different industries such as retail, tourism and many more! This can’t be said for gasoline vehicles. They won’t be able to be used in any other industry other than transport, because they are unappealing to customers. EV’s are so interchangeable and they can be used in so many different ways.
Although EV’s have many perks, they do however come with minute problems. Firstly, they take time to recharge and they’re initial cost is much higher than gasoline vehicles. Secondly, the range isn’t even close to the range of most modern gasoline vehicles. However, these small issues will be solved in the near future. Tesla and other manufacturers are already working on batteries that charge much faster than the batteries of the present day EV’s.
EV’s are truly remarkable and I know that in the very near future every industry will be drastically impacted due to EV’s. In short, I think electric vehicles will be able to do so many different tasks. I for one am extremely excited about what the future holds for all of us!
