Argumentative Essay: Should formula 1 pit stops be faster or slower than 2 seconds?

Imagine being in formula 1 as a mechanic and you have to do a pitstop during the race.How would you feel?It is highly probable that you will feel a lot of pressure and your heart bumps like crazy.The speed of a formula 1 pitstop has increased a lot during the years,it increased so much that it has become under 2 seconds which is crazy.However,the formula 1 pit stops have become a lot safer as well during the years.This essay will aim to prove that formula 1 pit stops during a race should be slower than 2 seconds,by discussing what the effect will be when we make the f1 pit stops slower.

Argument 1:slower
Firstly,making the formula 1 pit stops slower has a very big effect on the race outcome.The average time spent on a formula 1 pit stop during the race takes around 2 seconds according to a f1 website.Secondly,on another f1 website they said making f1 pit stops slower is better for the mechanics,because then they have more time to change the wheel and lift the car up and there will be less accidents.However,by making the pit stops slower is going to mean that the drivers will lose a lot of time,because during the pit stops you want to be as fast as possible and try to not lose any time.

Firstly,making the formula 1 pit stops faster has a very big effect on the race outcome,because a f1 pit stop takes around 2 seconds but you want to be faster than that of course.When you make the pit stop faster you will win time in the pitlane which could be crucial for track position during a race.Secondly,by making the pit stops faster the chance of a accident is also higher,because they have to lift the car up and imagine that goes wrong then a accident can happen.

Firstly,making the formula 1 pit stop slower is better,because the pit stops will then be safer.Which is better in the way of giving the mechanics more time to slowly lift the car up and change the wheel.But  in another way it is not good because you will lose time in  the pitlane and track position as well.But it will be safer in the pit lane which is better for the drivers,mechanics etc.In conclusion,should formula 1 pit stops be slower or faster than 2 seconds?It should be slower than 2 seconds,because multiple f1 websites and research showed that it is safer and better for the sport.Therefore,Formula 1 should make the pit stops during the race slower than 2 seconds.Let us see if we can make the f1 pit stops slower than 2 seconds instead of under 2 seconds.
