Although college can be expensive, college is worth the cost because it gives good experiences that may not be given at another time in life. 72% of college-educated Americans are hired more than non-college-educated Americans.

College is worthwhile because it provides opportunities that may not be available at any other moment in one's life.  “ Clubs, fraternity, and sorority life and on-campus job opportunities give students the ability to explore new and varied interests in a way they wouldn't be able to otherwise.” Theodora stated in “ Yes, College is Worth The Cost”. The only time someone would be able to experience sororities and on-campus life is in college. That opportunity won’t be offered anywhere else. Mainly because that is college life, and things colleges create for students to participate in.

College provides one’s life with future skills that can be important to have such as; “Provide tools that help us navigate through the world” (Vorias 2). College teaches skills that could be important to have in the workforce.  For example, “College teaches how to efficiently communicate big ideas” (Vorias 2).  This is a great trait to gain from college because it teaches someone how to bring their big ideas to the table. “The ability to work with others”  (Vorias 2). In the workforce, it’s very important to be able to strive effectively when working with others. College teaches these skills that could be important to have in the workforce. Having these skills can benefit co-workers, and themselves. Having the traits of communicating big ideas helps widen the options that co-workers and other employees could choose from. It's important to be able to work and be successful around others.

Some may believe that college is too expensive. “ Paying all that money for a college degree is definitely not worth it.” ( Brooks 3) However, paying a lot for college is understandable. Could it be cheaper? Yes, it could be. But a person with a college degree is not likely to get hired not because of the degree, but of their experiences gained.

A college degree will benefit someone because of the experiences gained, don't deny going to college simply because it’s difficult or takes a lot of work, go for the experience.
