Is it bothering that the Australian flag fails to acknowledge the country? After Australia unified and became an independent country in 1901, the flag was chosen. (carroll, n.d.).

The Australian flag needs to be changed to make it not meet modern standards and does not represent Australia as a whole. Currently the Australian flag does not include first nation people, Is very similar to other countries and The colors utilized have nothing to do with the identity of Australia.

The Australian flag must be changed for several reasons, one of which being that it resembles that of another country and hence does not reflect the Australian identity. New Zealand has a flag that is similar to Australia's. These flags frequently get mixed up since they are identical but for the color of the stars. When the Commonwealth Games are on, for example, the flags can be mistaken for one other. This demonstrates that at international events, Australia's flag does not strongly identify with Australian identity. This is troublesome because other countries throughout the world do not recognise our accomplishments. As a result of the flag's likeness to those of other countries, it must be modified.

Australia is one of the few countries in the world that encourages changing the national flag's design. Change supporters in Australia believe that a different flag design would represent Australia better than the existing one. On the current flag, there is no mention of anything associated with Australia. The natural flora and wildlife of Australia, as well as indigenous symbols and iconic settings such as beaches, are examples of this. The red and white union jack represents Australia's royal family, but the flag's representation of Australian identity ends there. As a result, to bring Australia into the twenty-first century, the flags should have colors and symbols that reflect present Australia.

Finally, the Australian flag needs to be replaced because it does not recognise the indigenous peoples of Australia. The nation was deemed a wasteland at the time of English arrival in Australia. The aboriginal people of Australia were not recognised as Australian first nation people until the late 1900s. This signifies that Australia had an established population prior to British colonization. The Australian government should recognise that indigenous peoples were the first to arrive on Australian soil before the arrival of the British and include indigenous colors and symbols into the Australian flag.

It is clear that the Australian Flag must be changed. This is because the Australian flag excludes first-generation Australians,   Because our flag is too similar to those of other countries, international governments do not recognise our achievements at international gatherings. The Australian flag's colors and emblems do not represent current Australian symbols, but they do reflect British colonial symbols. The first peoples of Australia are not acknowledged in the flag as the country's original settlers. Overall, the Australian flag should be redesigned to better represent Australian society and people in the twenty-first century.
