Essay Sample on Donald Trump's Positive Leadership

The definition of positive leadership to me is someone who can help whoever or whatever they are leading effectively even if there is a large opposition to them. Someone that matches this definition is Donald Trump. Donald Trump was the 45th U.S president, he was born in New York into a wealthy family. Later on in his life Donald Trump would be put in charge of his family's business. He would later on become the President of the United States. President Donald Trump is a prime example of a positive leader who showed dedication to his Country and the people in it due to his constant hard work to better the lives of others even while facing heavy opposition.

Donald Trump improved the lives of people by boosting the amount of jobs in the U.S and boosting the average income. One thing that Donald Trump did was boost the amount of jobs in the U.S and raise the average income, “America gained 7 million new jobs – more than three times government experts’ projections. Middle-Class family income increased nearly $6,000 – more than five times the gains during the entire previous administration.” Donald Trump was able to exceed the government's expectations by plenty, proving that he was a good leader. Donald Trump also helped all communities and he controlled unemployment better than any other president, “The unemployment rate reached 3.5 percent, the lowest in a half-century. Achieved 40 months in a row with more job openings than job-hirings. More Americans reported being employed than ever before – nearly 160 million.” This shows that Donald Trump was able to do what other presidents weren’t able to do. 

Another reason I believe Donald Trump is a good leader is because of how he handled the sudden surge of COVID-19, one the worst pandemics in recent history, “The President’s swift decision to stop travel from China undoubtedly saved lives.” Donald Trump shutting down travel to China is another example why is a good leader. Also he and his administration did as they promised and made vaccines for COVID-19 before the end of 2020, “The regulatory barriers he tore down made it possible for multiple vaccines to be developed, approved, and distributed.” Donald Trump and his administration were able to make vaccines adding on to the list of things that make him a good leader.

All of these reasons show how President Donald Trump is a prime example of a positive leader who showed dedication to his Country and the people in it due to his constant hard work to better the lives of others even while facing heavy opposition. A lot of things have changed in this country because of Donald Trump, for example he and his administration made the vaccine for COVID-19 which is still very much relevant today, also a lot of his policies have either stayed or been put back into effect by Joe Biden. But a big part of his relevance is his teasing at a possible re running for president in 2024.
