Should Students Be Required To Participate In Sports Essay Example

Students should not be required to participate in organized school sports. They not only work on schoolwork but have other responsibilities in their lives like jobs and chores around the house. Students have other interests besides playing school sports. Some students don't have  an athletic ability for sports and also have restrictions that don't allow them to play sports. The following paragraphs will explain why students should not be required to participate in organized school sports.

Students have other responsibilities to do in their lives other than school work. They have a job to earn some extra money or due to financial situations. Some students might have chores to do at home because it is their duty. They have other responsibilities like sweeping, vacuuming, cooking and cleaning. These are just examples of responsibilities that students have. 

Besides sports, students are interested in other activities. They can be interested in playing video games by themselves or with a friend online. Students can be interested in various types of TV shows or movies  like action, fantasy, anime, drama, and comedy. They could explore their hobbies  like doing art or doing activities that interest them. It shows students there are other activities to be interested in besides sports.

Their students don't have the ability to play sports and are restricted due to reasons. Some people are clearly not physically able to play sports. Students who have health conditions which restrict them to have the ability to play sports. Parents might not want their children to play sports because they could have a toll on their grades. This just shows not everybody is meant to play sports and some people have certain restrictions that makes them not able to play.

The reasons why students should not  be required to participate in organized school sports. Firstly,  students have other responsibilities besides school to do in their life. Secondly, there are other activities besides sports students can be interested in. Finally, students might not be capable of playing sports because of personal issues or reasons that restrict them from playing. This just shows why students should not be required to participate in school organized sports.
