Imagine that you are just a simple young man/woman who lives in a particularly sized place and you have a desire to create and express your own creativity through your own entertainment, but no one at home, school, work, etc. seems to know what you want or don’t offer any avenues of your interests, simply because they don’t think entertainment’s that important of a career. I know that that’s simply not true, entertainment and fictional media is just as important to have in our lives as every other job in the world as it has the ability to unleash creativity in others, change their outlook on a certain topic, teach people a very valuable lesson on anything, etc. And it can all be done simply through storytelling and characters that can be enjoyed by countless people for years, which to me is the best form of entertainment. This is why for my future career I want to become a talented Voice Actor as they don't require that much early education, it pays good money, and it gives me an opportunity to work in the entertainment industry. Not only that but I also want to become a talented Film Director as it gives me the opportunity to fully express my creativity, it also pays quite a bit, and many marketing/business opportunities can arise from this job.

To start off, I want to become a talented Voice Actor because it does not require too much early education in order to become one. To prove this, in paragraph 1 from the website called "Professional Voice-Over Actor: Career Information and Requirements" by BestAccreditedColleges, it is stated that, "No formal education is required to begin a career as a voice-over actor. These actors provide the voices for animated characters in TV shows and movies." (BestAccreditedColleges). As stated, many of the bigger and well-known voice actors went into the industry without much requirements besides a basic degree which isn’t really the case with other jobs out there. This is also stated in paragraph 4 from the website "HOW TO BECOME A VOICE ACTOR" by ZIPPA as it reads, "Even though most Voice Actors have a college degree, it's possible to become one with only a high school degree or GED." (ZIPPA). This shows that becoming a Voice Actor can require nothing more than a degree/GED from high school, making it a good change of pace from other jobs that require much more than that. In short, becoming a Voice Actor can be a great choice because of the lack of real requirements that come with it which makes it stand out from other paying jobs.

Speaking about paying jobs, the second reason I want to become a Voice Actor is because it is a great paying job for everyone in that field. In paragraph 8 the website titled "How to Become a Voice-Over Actor: 7 Tips for Landing a Job" written by MasterClass, the text states, "Some commercial voice-acting work can be incredibly lucrative, paying hundreds or thousands of dollars for recording a brief spot for national radio and television commercials." (MasterClass). This shows why I want to be a Voice Actor because it doesn't matter how small your role is, whether in a commercial, radio, or TV-show, you can still end up earning a lot of cash from it. Another example would be in paragraph 2-4 in the website "How Much Do Voice Actors Make Online?" by Anthony Pica as it says, "an entry-level voice actor earns about $18,390 per year, the average voice actor earns about $31,400 per year, an experienced voice actor earns about $90,000 per year."(Pica). This quote proves that it doesn't matter for how long you've been a voice actor or how experienced you might be, it is still a really good paying job with the lowest salary still above $10,000 per year. To wrap up, becoming a Voice Actor can and most likely will result in earning a sizable amount of money no matter how big or little it might be and can also go even higher if you’re experienced.

Finally, my final reason for wanting to become a Voice Actor is because it gives me the opportunity to be a part of the entertainment industry and meet many new people. To show this, in the website titled "The Pros and Cons of Voice Acting [EXPLAINED]" by PerformerLife, it reads, "The connections that you make will enhance both your professional and personal life. This is much different than just sitting in an office all day long doing a desk job."(PerformerLife). This shows that not only will you get to meet a lot more people than in a usual job, but it'll result in strong connections that can lead to a better social and personal life. Not only that, in the website named "How to Become a Voice Actor in 6 Steps (With Skills)" by the Indeed Editorial Team, the text says, "Voice actors typically work in the entertainment industry but can also provide vocal talent for advertising, education projects and digital devices."(Indeed). This quote is basically saying that when you become a voice actor, you'll have many opportunities to express your creative voice to many different avenues of entertainment and not just movies/shows which feels very special to me.

Moving on from Voice Acting, my first reason for wanting to become a talented Film Director is because it allows me to fully express myself and my creativity. For example, in the website “What does artistic expression for film mean?” by Brittany, it reads, “The art of movies consists of many facets. Cinematography, sound, and words are put together in a juxtapositional fashion. Film directors and editors are primarily responsible for the visuals they create for a film. They do this by carefully selecting sounds, music, and dialogue.” (Brittany). This goes to show that Film directors are almost always given fully creative expression and always have the final say of what YOU and only you think goes best with your vision of the project in terms of music, dialogue, and art direction.

Also, another reason for wanting to be a Film director is so that I could make a large amount of money for myself. According to the text “How Much Do Film Directors Make: Everything You Need To Know” by the NFI, it says, “Depending on experience, most film directors earn between $250,000 to $2 million per project. New directors typically earn between $250,000 to $500,000 per film.”(the NFI). This reveals that film directors can earn a lot of money for each or their projects. This is a very beneficial fact because part of a job is to make money in order to provide for your family and for yourself and since newly paid directors are still paid about $250,000 to $500, 000 this, at least for me, makes it a no-brainer to want to be a film director, especially if you’re experienced which can earn you about $2 million.

Finally, the final reason I want to become a Film director is because of the many marketing and business opportunities that can arise from taking part in this field. For example, In the text “Director Job Description, Career as a Director, Salary, Employment” by the WEB SOLUTIONS, it states, “With experience and success, an individual director may achieve fame or critical distinction. Some directors branch out into different art forms—for instance, a theatrical director may become a filmmaker.”(WEB SOLUTIONS). This quote goes to show that many big opportunities can always arise from anywhere. As long as you have what it takes and put effort into whatever you choose to do, big opportunities will always come to you and soon enough you’ll become a house-hold name, which is definitely a worthwhile feeling to have.

In conclusion, Voice Acting and Film directing are careers involved with art/entertainment and both each requires you to give all of your creativity and talents to a certain project. Both of these jobs are ones that can be very fulfilling and mostly exciting to do and are ones that I would definitely recommend to anyone, if you are someone who is open to changes in your work, love to work with many different people, and have a desire to express your creativity in any way you want to. But it doesn't have to just come down to certain people, I believe that everyone out there has the opportunity to become a very talented Voice Actor/Film director, if you want to work at a job that encourages creativity, I heavily encourage you to go for it, let out your creative voices and challenge yourself to become one of the most well-known figures in entertainment out there, and who knows, maybe one day you’ll change someone's life for the better with your talent.
