Argumentative Essay on Technology in Our Life

We all have some form of technology in our household or vicinity, but technology serves a major Role in society, whether it’s a phone, laptop or tablet. There are many forms of technology not just electronic devices, for example the form of writing, writing goes way back about several thousand years so there are many definitions of technology.  Technology has a range of benefits that can transform and develop our civilization.

Firstly, technology provides humans with very useful instruments, for instance, the platforms Google, maps, calculator and news, all that compact into one device “according to the source 2 paragraph 17 it states, "access to the internet's information lets us think better and faster. By considering a wide range of information, we can arrive at more creative and informed solutions”. This means that technology provides us with useful information that benefits us. Technology can be a form of learning for toddlers, children and teens, as there used in public schools such as elementary, middle and high school. An enormous platform that is most popularly used is google, because google provides a network of information that people use in their everyday lives “according to the source 2 paragraph 19 it states, "When the history of our current age is written, it will say that google has made us smarter—both individually and collectively—because we have ready and free access to information”. This means that technology provides people with something to do so they won’t be distracted.

Secondly, technology also benefits our brains, such as emails, typing and even video games, they all enhance our abilities “according to source 3 paragraph 25 it states, “Technology use can benefit the brain in some ways, researchers say. Imaging studies show the brains of internet users become more efficient at finding information. And players of some video games develop better visual acuity”. I can relate because I used to be a video game player and I've seen an increase in my muscle memory and reaction time. Technology like cellphones and computers have brought us to where we are now with technological advancements, “according to source 3 paragraph 27 is states, “More broadly, cellphones and computers have transformed life. They let people escape their cubicles and work anywhere. They shrink distances and handle countless mundane tasks, freeing up time for more exciting pursuits”. This means technology gives people a reason to escape reality.

I can see that technology can have some sort of issues in the future and will cause some major issues for instance hacking. There are still some flaws, but I think technology can improve.

To end it , I think technology can have major benefits to our society like hospitals and work organizations and even education facilities
