In the world, there are hundreds of thousands of homes. Some of the houses are made of concrete, wood, marble, goods, and more. It can fulfill a human’s needs, but can everyone feel at “home” in their house? Some people might feel unhappy and uncomfortable at home. Even a perfect house can’t fulfill this. It is the most important quality of the house and the rarest. The house that can fulfill this is my dream house.

My current house is an old apartment built over a hundred years ago, the outside of it is made out of bricks and it is six stories. I swung open the metal doors and entered the building, which was covered in a yellow shade of concrete and had a fake fireplace. I clicked the up button near the elevator and went inside it. I clicked the button that had a three on it, because I lived on the third floor, and after a few minutes I exited the elevator. As soon as I approached my apartment, I could hear my neighbor’s dogs barking and fighting. When I was about to open the door, a dog came out and started climbing. The neighbor was nonchalant about the whole thing because it happened so often. Even though it happened often, in my mind I was scared because I had a phobia of dogs. When the dog got off, I went inside my apartment, which had white concrete walls, and slept in my bedroom.

Suddenly, I appeared on a grassy field with a cliff, which was covered by moss, in front of me. In the middle of the cliff, there was a two-story cabin with a grass pathway surrounded by hedges. The pathway led to an enormous spiral stairway, and an elevator. I stepped inside of the elevator and it was covered with stone, with a golden snake design at the top. I loved this stone design because it reminded me of my dead common garter snakes. It reminded me of them and was a way to honor them. As I swung the door open and went inside the cabin, I stared at the stone walls and dark floor fazed by it. I approached the real fireplace and stared at the fire for a while. There was also a bathroom door next to it, that led to a giant bathtub. Near it was a kitchen that had black marble counters and it smelled sweet. Across from it were two sofas, a green couch, a wooden table, and tv hanging from the wall. Above the living room, there was a spiral staircase that led to a closet and green bed. When I walked up the stairs I could see the living room from it.

Finally, after I admired my dream house, I realized I was sleeping. I tried to fall asleep again but it didn’t work. I changed my clothes, took my backpack, and stood near my door. I was about to open the door but I remembered the dogs outside my door. I didn’t want them to jump on me again. Unlike my dream house, I had to wait for the dogs to leave, otherwise, I would get jumped on again. In my dream home, I could walk outside with no worries. I quickly swung open the door and ran downstairs, to avoid the dogs if they did come out. The second thing I disliked about this apartment was the exit which had an aroma of cigarettes. Compared to my dream house, which had the sweet smell of vanilla, it was a rancid smell.

To summarize, I want my dream house to be located on a cliff. At this house, I learned that I feel safer than I do at my real home. It was a very pretty house and smelled good. I really like that house.
