Since then, we've been taught to set aside some time for ourselves. It is a part of our lives that we are encouraged to do so on occasion. Under it, sleeping every night is a practice. Doing your hobbies, using your phones, or engaging in any activity that relieves your fatigue are all part of it. Simply because all of this results in a more refreshed and productive you. This topic would primarily discuss how rest and self-care should be your top priorities during these trying times. We are students in the midst of a pandemic, and just thinking about it is exhausting.

As students and as humans in general, we have a lot of responsibilities. Doing tasks, preparing presentations while trying to manage household chores, and so on all require a lot of energy, which can drain us at times. We can all admit to being hard on ourselves at some instances. We frequently sacrifice our sleep in order to complete assignments, for example. This reduces the time available for our bodies to rest and recover after a long day. But we are still young and are developing as we grow. Rest is therefore essential for our physical and emotional health. As I previously stated, we should prioritize rest and self-care. This does not imply that you should put all of your tasks behind you and live your life without thinking about them. This is all about making time, even if it's only an hour a day, to rest your mind and heal yourself. The most important factor here is your mental health and overall well-being. Not only will your mind and body benefit from this, but so will your abilities and skills. Taking breaks allows us to be more alert, focused, and motivated, which simply makes life better and more enjoyable because you have a reason to go on every single day.  This will allow us to be more productive and creative, as well as reduce procrastination and make our workload easier to manage.

We could begin by identifying our own behaviours and getting to know ourselves better in order to change unhealthy habits. Since the beginning of COVID, we have had a difficult time, and I want everyone to know that we should be kind with ourselves. We are not getting any younger, and by taking care of yourself, you are helping your future self. We're all aware that our current situation is difficult, but please don't make it worse by forgetting about yourself. Talk to some friends on the internet, watch your favorite shows, and do whatever brings you joy. It is not difficult to begin by attempting and prioritizing what is best for you.

As I end this, I hope everyone understood my point. This may seem a lot to some, but I am simply reminding everyone. We should begin and end our journey in the best possible condition. It may be difficult at first, but we must continue on with our lives. We have a long way to go as students, and by understanding the importance of ourselves in this adventure, we will be able to arrive at the end with a stable self. Take care of yourself, be who you are and all together, we'll find the way to success.
