Many students may be uncertain of what academics include during their college years, as well as the challenges they may face. When problems arise, they have a tendency to disturb their academic achievement. Health troubles, financial difficulties, mental health struggles and homesickness are all examples of hurdles.

For the past two years, health issues in today's culture have been the main source of distraction. Covid is today's special health crisis. Personally, I started college as a freshman in 2020, when everything was virtual due to the virus's spread being slowed by social distancing. It made things a lot more difficult because I like face-to-face learning. Furthermore, many of us were sluggish when it came to acidems as a result of it. Covid has also spread widely around campus, forcing us to infect one another.

Financial restrictions are the second most prevalent factor for academic achievement. According to a recent study, the financial well-being of students is linked to their academic performance and graduation rates. Financially secure students perform better in college and are more likely to graduate, whereas financially stressed students perform worse and are more likely to drop out. Furthermore, about half of students who start freshman year with serious financial problems stay in that situation for the whole year. 49% of sophomores are still experiencing severe financial hardships on a regular basis.

Ultimately, homesickness is a factor that affects a student's academic performance. As a result of homesickness, you may suffer depression, anxiety, and withdrawal. It can also lead to social and behavioral problems, as well as depression and anxiety symptoms, coping deficiencies, academic troubles, poor self-esteem, feelings of helplessness, and obsessive thoughts and activities. Additionally, homesickness can manifest itself in ways that are comparable to depression, such as frequent sobbing, sleeping issues, and difficulty focusing.

Finally, there are numerous obstacles to a college student's success, but there are numerous strategies to overcome them. In terms of health concerns, society can continue to practice social distance while engaging in face-to-face learning, which is preferred by the majority of students. Finances for education, on the other hand, should be more reasonable, with students doing everything possible to avoid financial crises and be more comfortable. Students should get involved in student organizations, interact as a student body, and network with campus personnel and students in order to avoid homesickness.
