When I think about leadership traits that make a person contribute largely to the field of law enforcement, I tend to think about people with strong deductive/inductive reasoning skills who are organized as well as responsible for their actions. Law enforcement professions include wide range of people, all the way from police officers who are in charge of keeping the society safe by discouraging and arresting people who are commitments threatening acts against others to forensic scientists who uses edge-cutting scientific techniques to analyze every piece of evidence on the crime scene that help them to find the culprit who commit heinous crime against others. Having the ability to be able to catch even the tiniest piece of evidence that () and the ability to deduct possible scenarios of how and why the suspect commit these acts 

The ability to be able to make deductive and inductive approaches in the field of law and criminology is vital because they are directly connected with the person’s ability to make theories and conclusions solely based on the observations they made. Observations should not be made based on the biases they have, because overly relying on our initial judgement make us not be able to find the

The skill of organization is important because having this skill makes a person to be efficient and easily to be reviewed by peers in the case of discussions. Documenting actions taken by the investigators and keeping track of what has happened during the criminal investigation is very impor. For example, police officers keep a chain of custody of the evidence they’ve collected from the crime scene. Each time the evidence gets reviewed by professionals, a tag is added so that it is very clear and easy to see who has reviewed the evidence . Keeping an organized record of this chain of custody helps the investigators to constantly keep track of where the evidence went and when it was reviewed so that they know how to respond when something happens. 

The capability to be responsible for their actions matter the most in law enforcement professionals because they are making decisions and conclusions that affect the lives of others through the enforcement of the law. Responsibility is what drives people to take the right actions in the case of emergencies to ensure safety and trust among the people.

In conclusion, it is very important for law enforcement professionals to be organized, responsible and reasonable because these qualities make them able to analyze situations with great efficiency and accuracy with trust from the piblic. The ability to make conclusions based on observations and evidence influence an officer’s ability to arrest suspects who are guilty of their actions and collect evidence in order to prove a person’s innocence or guilt on legal grounds. The ability to be organized makes a person more professional by finding out an efficient method to achieve the same goal with great accuracy. And finally, the ability for them to be responsible for their actions while enforcing the law to the public in a way that would not hurt or offend anyone.
