Persuasive Essay Example: We Must get a Swimming Pool at School

Could you just imagine splashing around in a school pool. Now you might think that having a pool is a horrible idea, but hold your breath. Having a pool is convenient, children get educated about water safety regularly and it’s just fun yet very relaxing. 

Riding a bus to get to the swimming pool for carnivals and school swimming is a horrific waste of money and it’s just painful. Could you just imagine the bills, they’re probably through the roof. Having a pool at the school is the obvious answer, it solves all unnecessary problems. Not only that having a pool educates kids who have no clue on how to swim.  

The amount of drowning casualties is insane, many people don’t have the ability to swim. Having a pool will help reduce that high number of casualties. Studies have proved that many kids are drowning because of the lack of swim education, having a pool will help minimise that unnecessary  huge number. Having a pool isn’t only educational, it’s also fun and relaxing. 

Just imagine the beaming rays of sun scorching your skin,  all you need is a cool, relaxing dip in a pool. Studies have shown that kids are overloaded with work causing a great deal of stress. A way to relieve stress is to take a calm relaxing dip at the school’s pool. If that doesn’t relieve your day to day stress I don’t know what will. 

In conclusion, having a pool is the obvious solution it solves all your unnecessary problems. It also educates everyone on swim safety, it is extremely convenient yet cost free and it’s just fun and relaxing. Without a doubt having a pool at our school is an extremely good idea. So nag your teachers until they give in.
