Nowadays everyone is using technology to search things up, interact with friends, and for entertainment. People are on technology everyday and it is taking over, society uses technology for even everyday problems. Everyone around the world relies on technology to get the things they need and to have infinite amounts of amusement. Before technology people had to rely on newspapers to get information and find out new things that happened. As more and more people become dependent on these apps, their self-awareness, ability to think and process information, and other cognitive skills will diminish. Relying on technology for many things leaves people dependent and convenient.

One way that society relies on technology too much is how people become dependent.

People are spending hours on their devices, relying on the things it has to get the things that people want or need to inform themselves of new things and information. “Almost half the people in America look at their phones for almost five hours and it affects their sleep and their lives.” This shows how humanity, without devices, can still function the same when they take a break. This text answers the prompt by showing how people can still be normal and not be connected to technology always.  Although, Every human being has a part of technology that affects their lives and causes health problems or having people getting scammed. In the text ``The Blackhole of Technology” by Gale it expresses “Now I'm always consumed by my tech and I never stop to take a break.” Even though there is a ton of evidence that proves or shows that technology is bad there are twice as many people that think that technology is a benefit.

Another reason why people rely on technology too much is that it is convenient to use.

Humanity has relied on the convenient usage of technology to find new things out fast and receive new things. “ Inside, you will feel like Indiana Jones, finding information that you believe will make you a more complete human being when you are off your device.” It shows that when people don't rely on the convenience of technology it makes them feel free and normal spacing away from the uses of technology. The text displayed indicates that people without technology can feel free and live life without the requirements of devices. However, the use of technology can have horrible consequences which then lead to many problems in the future that can affect many people's lives.  The video “How much Modern Technology is Harmful to Society” indicates that “Using technology too much can cause diseases and even social isolation.” There are many diseases that are caused by technology and many people get hurt from it but tech has cured many people on the upside.

In Summary, society has relied on technology too much because people can get the information that they need dependent and convenient. Technology has had a huge benefit and positive impact on humanity. Technology has upgraded the use of communication, entertainment, and the use of transportation. Technology has made life easier, more convenient, safer, and more enjoyable. Humanity has relied too much on the easy use of technology to get the things that they want and it has evolved the use of everything. Many people have evolved from the new inventions that technology has made but it still can be very bad and can cause many catastrophic effects on people.
