Art is something that's not as recognized because there are so many forms with so many different impacts. It's truly the little things and art depicts that with its small but impactful jesters. The world wouldn't be the same without it.  It would be similar to a missing puzzle piece, if art wasn't something so important in our society.

Art brings a new appreciation to life and the little things. The smallest art form can really change your life.  Listening to a song, watching a movie, seeing a mural are all little things you may do on a daily basis. Without realizing it these impact you, usually in a positive manner. Listening to your favorite positive song on the way to work has the power to change your whole day and even uplift your mood. “Art opens up the stream of the subconscious and intends to personally touch every person that comes across it.”( educationworld.in) Agreeing with education world, art is something we live and breathe and noticing its impacts isn't as easy all the time but the little things definitely contribute to what the world is today.

Some may say art is impactful but in a negative manner. Shedding light on often sugar coated topics. Spewing hate in its literature, poetry and even its visuals. Some art can be violent and disturbing. Art can even be considered a weapon of destruction showing the hidden secrets of the world meant to be hidden. It can even encourage bad behavior and violence for example, playing a game like Gta with visuals and music filled with crime and hate may influence one to act like that in reality. Stealing, murder, violence, drugs are all strong topics shown in the game that could possible give someone an motive. With all these bad factors can Art really impact the world in a positive manner?

Regardless of the good and bad sides of art it continues to plague the world in positive ways everyday. We are taught right and wrong and art has the power to influence but being a bad person is not something you can blame on art.  Art is not only a form of education but a learning tool. From a young age art is used to teach lessons including math, english, social studies, history and just about everything.  You are taught what is right and wrong shown in literature, history and illustrations. Literature is a great example of art that is used to educate and teach lessons. When in elementary school we are taught with picture books filled with informative illustrations and literature.  For example reading “No david” in elementary school depicted a bad kid who might of incorged bad behavior but was eventually taught that was wrong. Getting the point across that though some art may be bad most art teaches you a lesson to do better.

Art needs to be more recognized because it built the society and world we know today. History tells a story with art constantly being retold because it is so important to the world we know today. Appreciation and gratitude is something that needs to be more prominent with art because it impacts everyone in many amazing ways. It can be seen as negative because of some of its depictions but these things are taking place in real life and only being retold with art. Either way art retells a story and teaches a lesson to impact the world in a positive manner. Without art the world would be the beautiful place it is today.
