Being a female in modern-day society can be a challenge. Ladies are regularly stereotyped and are treated otherwise due to their gender. There have been many advances to the way women are portrayed in society, however, women are nonetheless "underdogs". We face many challenging situations at home, college, work, etc. that could result in us no longer believing in the power we girls can hold.

Women are regularly now not appreciated for the things they'll offer and are regularly stereotyped for positive jobs and roles they need to do. Society has undervalued the energy girls keep, "Women have both reproductive and productive roles in most societies. Their reproductive role is usually undervalued by most people; it includes biological reproduction (bearing children, rearing children, and maintaining the household) and social reproduction (maintaining the status quo in their society)." (Kinnear). This quote is critical because society would not see the strength and power girls maintain, we're strong women who can resist sporting and giving birth to an infant. Not only is that a tough job for women physically but also mentally. Many ladies suffer from postpartum depression and in society, it's far visible as a weak point however that is not how it should be. We need to work together to change this mid-set and help women in their battles. Women are given these stereotypes on what jobs they ought to have or roles they play, "Traditional occupational roles attributed to women are related to caring for others (e.g., homekeeper, nurse) and require communal characteristics (e.g., kind, sensitive) "( University of Warsaw 2016)." As times are changing so must society, women need to no longer be put in a class in which they may be told and informed what they must to do. Being instructed women must be housekeepers and sensitive can be very degrading. As women, we should try to be a lot greater like the CEO of an agency, or fulfill our dreams. A lot of these societal practices need to and can be changed to inspire girls to be the better versions of themselves and that they are not alone they have got the support of the world.

Discrimination is a completely real issue among males and females. This has affected women and created obstacles that women should jump through to even get as near as a man should in their jobs. The surroundings in a place of business can be very tough, "Women face biases and barriers at all turns within the scientific community, from publishing, funding and hiring, to promotion to more senior positions." Womem are frequently not seen as superior like men are. This is a large challenge and causes girls to experience inferiority and have very little self-belief in themselves to achieve bigger and better possibilities. Biases that girls face at work frequently cause low self-esteem, "This weak self-confidence may hold some women back as they count themselves out of pursuing prestigious roles in professions they believe they won’t excel in, despite having the skills to succeed"( Gerdeman 2019)". Having low self-esteem may be the leading purpose of why women are so scared to strive for new matters and show society they are capable of anything. Women can keep back because they are scared but the truth is they're able to do whatever we placed our minds to. We shall in no way degrade women or make them feel less than. The toxicity and inequality within the place of business needs to be give up and we must all be equal regardless of our gender.

There were a lot of advances that have helped women and have proven the world we're capable of anything. We've simply started the year and already ladies are dominating "2022 was a record breaking year for women in the corporate world. As of March, there were 74 female CEOs employed at America's 500 highest-grossing companies, up from 41 in June of 2021 and just 7 in 2002." This has been any such breakthrough for womem, we will prove to ourselves that we can accomplish whatever we set our minds to. It is such a an achievement to show to younger kids the process we are making as a community and society. Girls have constantly been fighters, the women's rights movement, was an important movement, "Women’s rights movement, also called women’s liberation movement,  diverse social movement, largely based in the United States, that in the 1960s and ’70s sought equal rights and opportunities and greater personal freedom for women". ". This movemnt has helped many ladies speak out about how they feel they must be dealt with. Thus far its such an empowering movement and it's essential because it's far the alternative and the way we can move forward in society. It is extraordinary the modifications and accomplishments women have made throughout the years. We have used our voices to help us and show we are more than just pretty faces.

Women are often left out and that has brought about many situations but we won't stand down. We work hard to show our worth and strength. In a society being instructed the expectations for you can be a limit and may prevent us from growing and showing our capability. In many jobs, girls are believed to not be as good as men, and that causes for our low self-esteem which isn't fair and would not let us achive our goals. Despite those challenges women have to conquer them and have proven they can do anything a man can do. What we see inside the media is regularly restricted to what they want us to see that is why the risk of a single narrative is massive, they best allow us to see one side of the story, and do not give the full information . With that being said society should make the effort to make recognition of the stereotypes different cultures and communities face. In the end, we're all one united world and anything a man can do a women can do it better.
