Essay on The Education System in Mexico vs. the U.S.
According to Global Education (In Our World Wata) “A fundamental resource for many people in society is about education.” Nowadays education has been accepted to be supported by government agencies. However, many changes of improvement have been made across the world, making a great expansion in education. In fact, government agencies at the U.S. Department of Education have been contributing with some resources and economic assistance. Despite these improvements, education websites show that some schools have been financed by public resources around the globe, although a few teachers in schools must be effective to improve educational outcomes to better education and economic growth. However, there are facts why education is widely different is because of the following reasons: public education, middle school structure, and financial education between the U.S.A. and Mexico.
Public education in the U.S.A. provides free education to students until grade twelve with free textbooks but some students are required to attend school until a certain age depending on which state they are living in. However, the Mexican states must provide education until middle school while after sixth-grade students must pay for their textbooks. Also, students do not need a high amount of money to do their studies in a public school because they offer educational services that are resourceful and affordable for all students who want to have a greater life. Although, in the U.S.A. and Mexico in both countries access to public education is an inherent right of every student both governments operate public schools that offer free education to every student regardless of race and socioeconomic status.
As for middle school structure, between U.S.A and Mexico, there are different grade levels used and both systems need an elevated level of requirements. For example, grade level in Mexico is six grades in main schools but in middle schools are four years of level age while in the U.S.A there are just three years. Also, not going to school in the U.S.A. is illegal for citizens while not going to school in Mexico is not illegal but most people do not send their sons to school because of their lack of money. As well as students assist to school for three years much as in the U.S.A. and Mexico.
Finally, in America, there are over one million people who do not have a financial education because they have no money, most of them are families who have been to unfortunate events that have gone bankrupt. Same as Mexican country in ways that for those people who live in poverty are every day in life issue. Meanwhile, in Mexico there are programs focused on the material distribution as textbooks and scholarships for people who cannot afford them, but these are limited. On the other hand, both countries as U.S.A and Mexico have programs focused on immigrant students to help them with assistance increasing economic and social ways including saving and investments, but the problem is not everyone can be accepted on the program.
In conclusion, public education, middle school structure, and financial education a form of general education in both countries as the U.S.A. and Mexico have education systems but with distinct levels and ages. Still, it is interesting to note that education in both countries has a unique form of doing things. Therefore, students can improve their education not only based on these two countries' education is not perfect and it is safe to say that a student can take other alternatives like programs which can help you to improve your academic record even your economic situation.
