According to Climate.gov, The average rate of climate change increased by 0.13 degrees Fahrenheit which is 0.08 degrees Celsius per decade since 1880, but since 1981 the average rate of increase is 0.18 C and 32 F, which Is more than twice the rate of climate change increases (Lindsey and Dahlman). Due to these temperatures rising, tons of things could happen like no snow in a certain part of the US or having blazing heat one day and freezing cold the other day. Countless people increase this rate without even thinking about it on a daily by using their car to go to work or not reusing and Recycling plastic. Americans need to decrease the average global increase of climate change by using electric vehicles to travel and reusing plastic. 

Many people such as Americans who go to work, people who drop their kids off at school, and people who use their cars are burning off more Carbon Emissions than they realize. About 72% of the Emissions come from road transmission alone. There are about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide being burned and created per year according to (“Overview of Greenhouse Gases”). We all have dreams that we want to accomplish like watching our kids grow up or owning a business. This is exactly why we need to take better care of our environment because the world is way too young to start dying already. “Buying electric vehicles can fix this problem alone. Plug-in electric vehicles produce about 3000 pounds of carbon emissions which is 8000 pounds less than Gasoline vehicles” (“Emissions from Hybrid and Plug-In Electric Vehicles”). Knows that the emissions will not stop. The temperature was back in 1880. This means that we must be careful with our use of vehicles and consider buying EVs because everybody knows how strong 8000 pounds is.  

The answer is right in front of everybody whenever they use plastic. All they have to do is recycle it, and if they cannot reuse it. “There are so many people that do not do this, that the maximum temperature that rises daily is 2.45 degrees Celsius” (Rosane). People need to take their used plastic to recycle them and or reuse them to better the temperature in the air and around the world. There are about 35.7 million tons of plastic produced each year in the US and 300 million tons around the world. WHILE OTHERS ARE TOO LAZY TO FIND ONE.] [REFUTATION] [HOWEVER, THESE SAME PEOPLE DON’T THINK TO REUSE THESE SAME PLASTICS, YES SOME OF THEM MAY BE DIRTY BUT WITH A LITTLE SCRUB EVERYTHING CAN GO BACK TO NORMAL.] 

Our climate change temperature will always rise and never stop, but we can all play a role in lowering it as low as we can. Not only do humans get affected by this but so does every living thing on the planet. Elon musk has made Electric cars and Mr. Beast, a famous YouTuber, has started to clean up seas and beaches from plastic to help decrease the temperature. Just because people don’t have the money or energy to do it, all it takes is one change in our life so that we can influence others to help stop climate change.
