Most people would think that inventors like Albert Einstein and Steve Jobs grew up as child prodigies and spent a lot of time building their inventions; for some well-known inventors, this wasn’t the case. Not all inventors built their ideas nor grew up at being top of their class. Furthermore, inventions from decades ago still affect our lives today.

Inventions like airplanes made by two individuals completely changed the world’s perspective. We are now able to travel through the air and do so at much faster speeds than any other transportation vehicle. Inventions are like branches when one forms it creates room for more branches to grow. For example, the creation of a phone made it possible for an invention that would protect the phone called a “phone case.”

Albert Einstein is famous for inventing a formula for the relationship between mass and energy and winning the Nobel prize for physics as stated in source 2 paragraphs 5 and 7. When Albert Einstein was younger he showed no signs of being intelligent in any way. He wasn’t able to talk at the age of 2-and-a-half and once he was able to he said all his words twice which was expressed in paragraph 1 of the second source. Later in paragraph 3 it mentions that his headmaster said “he’ll never be successful at anything.” Later he went to college and even though he failed some exams he was able to get in because of his astonishing math and physics scores. As written in paragraph 6 all of that brought him to his inventions that will forever be called a ‘scientific revolution’.

Having an idea is all that you need to create an invention. The inventor of the iPhone or home computer Steve Jobs was not actually good at computer engineering as shown in the 3rd source in paragraph 3. Then looking at paragraph 2 reveals that Jobs knew a guy named Steve Wozniak who was a good computer programmer. Jobs wasn’t the person who built his ideas; Wozniak was behind it. When you have an idea, bring it to life even if people think you’re delusional. If Steve Jobs gave up right when someone ridiculed him we never would have had the computer for your home.

Inventions like the computer, the iPhone, or the formula for mass and energy changed society and created new openings for inventions.  The computer lets us play games or we can do work from home using them. The formula for mass and energy allows us to predict future events. The iPod allowed us to listen to different songs through one device. All these inventions are unique and will forever make our society and world grow.
