Online classes have grown in popularity and efficacy as our world becomes more reliant on internet resources. Students can learn at their own pace, complete assignments on their own schedule, and gain the same knowledge as they would in a typical, classroom-based course by taking online classes. Online professors use conversation, assignments, and community to educate students, much as they do in regular classes. Their methods of putting these instruments into action, on the other hand, are completely different. Both pathways have their advantages and disadvantages, and it completely depends on what’s more comfortable for you.

For many students , the primary benefit of online learning involves scheduling flexibility. Unlike classroom learning, students can maintain a flexible study schedule. Students may study at their own pace with online learning, which is the opposite of classroom learning, where a student works completely based on a school’s curriculum. A person taking online education, for example, can balance free time and study time. People who learn in a classroom, on the other hand, must follow a set and rigid schedule, which may conflict with their schedule. The nicest thing about online learning is that it allows people to take a class from the comfort of their own home. Even if they have a busy schedule, they can find time to take a course or study for it. Students can work at their own pace with most online education programs. Students who attend traditional in person classes, even if it is inconvenient, are required to follow the pace of a typical course with the rest of the students. However, this eventually leads to frustration. They are frequently bored by the school's curriculum and advanced students are very limited to other learning options. Some students find it simpler to concentrate in a classroom rather than to concentrate remotely. Consider how quickly television, a family member, unfinished chores, and other household items might distract you from your online class.

Students must manage their time effectively in both online and traditional programs. Students in traditional classes schedule their time outside of class for studying, projects, and homework. Students who are enrolled in online classes must have a desire to learn. This requires a high level of self-motivation and independence, as well as a desire to improve academically and to be interested.

Many students are not the best at working solo. Many work best when they have people around to discuss the material with and bounce ideas off of. For such students, traditional classes might be the better option. Traditional classes teach social skills that will greatly help in the future. Asking questions and working with others allows you to combine your thoughts and look at problems from several angles. One goal of group work is to show how being sociable can help you learn more effectively. You must not only listen to other people's perspectives, but also compare, contrast, and combine them into your own thinking. Perhaps another person's point of view will persuade you to change your views or think differently. When in a classroom, students are often required to speak their minds. They may be required to give presentations or speeches. They have to work cooperatively in groups of people with differing viewpoints. (Sethughes) If you have a question for your teacher you can raise your hand in class and get an immediate answer. If you turn in a paper and have a question about grades or comments, you can usually talk to the teacher directly. In online learning, it is sometimes harder to receive effective feedback and you may have to wait until your teacher reads their email. While many students welcome new technological advancements, others are less comfortable with it and prefer to stick with paper and pencil.

Both traditional and online classrooms have their own set of benefits. They, too, have their own sets of difficulties. Before deciding on which options are best for you, it is important to think carefully about what you need and what you want from your education. As technology advances, it will surely continue to replace and improve traditional learning. Younger people are increasingly becoming used to searching for information on the internet, which is obviously affecting the way they process and understand information. As a result, it is critical for education to evolve and grow in order to meet the needs of this form of education. Online learning has already risen in popularity, and it is quickly  becoming a popular way of obtaining an education. It only makes sense for online education to continue to become another way of learning in a society that is becoming increasingly reliant on technology.
