Persuasive Essay Example: Animal Testing Should Be Legal

Animal testing has been around for many years, but due to all of its negatives, should it be illegal? Animals can die at the hands of humans without a doubt, so why is this a debate? 

Allow me to elucidate; the individuals who believe it should state, “it’s animal cruelty as the animal under discussion has no say in what can happen to it and possibly live through painful alterations or even die.” However, I do not think this risk should be a part of the debate taking into account all the human lives we can save with this procedure. 

Not only can we find out the cure for diseases that kill thousands of humans daily, but at the cost of just a few animal lives. Though this sounds rough, wildlife creatures are just different than us. They don’t form relationships the way we humans do. For evidence, a mother bird will protect her young until she finds something wrong. She will then push the baby out of the nest, and it will die. 

Humankind naturally wants improvement and cures, still, we are never sure how correct our equations really are; how would you like to be the first subject to a medicine that hasn’t been tested? You might as well just call that human testing.

Animal cruelty isn’t at all what individuals think it is. Development is part of a perfect progress. So as scientists, doctors, and the multitude of people our society relies on improve. everyone should learn from the mistakes humans naturally make in everyday life. This is why I state animal testing should be legal.
