Why Should Humans Explore Space? Essay Example

Would you rather be in a world with no ocean or no space? We should explore and spend more money in exploration for space because if we explore space then we can make it safe to travel too. Also not that many people have been to space and it would be a teaching opportunity for more people to go and discover the cosmos. Another reason we may have explored our solar system but we haven't been to all of the planets. This is why we should explore space; it would give us an advantage for life.

One reason we should continue to explore space is because space is big and we can't stop now. Space scientist Alexandra Hall from passage one Witch in the final frontier says that “NASA has spent more money on the earth than space.” Meaning that we should explore space because we have spent too much money on it.  We have spent billions of dollars on space exploration and if we stop now that would be a waste of money. Also think of the people who work on the exploration of space; they would lose their jobs and have nowhere to work. According to the passage Ocean vs. space which is the true final frontier. “We have spent 17.8 billion dollars on space exploration.” This shows that space is better to explore because we have gone so far and can't stop now. 

Another reason we should explore space is because we could advance our civilization. Ever since 1969 according to space expert Alexandra Hall “we have made great achievements due to the help of space exploration.” We have made economic benefits, national security and advancements in technology and medicine, and have also given many people jobs. This shows that space is better to explore because we would get more from it like medicine and technology benefits. People say only 3 people have been to the bottom of the ocean and 500 people have been to space.But not many people ever get to go to space.

Also we could benefit from world science. According to space expert Alanxandra Hall’s research. We could get info and possibly stop the melting ice caps. Also we could get info on climate change, and ocean surface temperature. This shows that we should explore space. Some people may say that ocean exploration is more important than space because we haven’t explored much of it but we don’t even know how much of space we have explored. 

We should explore space because of the advantages later on like.  We have made a lot of progress and we can put it off because space could save us one day. Also could you imagine what would happen if we stop space exploration? Many people would have no job. Another reason we should explore space is that we could use our knowledge of space and the things we have in space to advance our civilization . We could use them to make our city home and town safer. Of course we could use space exploration knowledge to make our planet a better place. With the tech we have in space we could warn ourselves of upcoming events. So would you rather splash in the water or explore our cosmos.
