Women’s rights are very limited. We live in a world where men run over women and women have no word. In some countries, women are supposed to stay in the kitchen and men are supposed to be working. There are only ten countries in the world where women have their rights.

In some countries, the parents favor the male and the women have no word. According to The Root of Gender Inequality in Developing Countries, it states that males are favored in “ education, health, personal autonomy, and more—are systematically larger in poor countries than in rich countries.”  The reason why the poor are more likely to have favoritism towards the males than the females are because of what they believe according to The Root of Gender Inequality in Developing Countries. In marriages, the women make the household decision like improving a child’s outcome depending on whether their poor or rich. According to The Root of Gender Inequality in Developing Countries, it states “The DHS computes a country-specific household wealth index. Women above the median wealth level for their country have more decision-making power and less tolerance for gender-based violence than those with below-median wealth.”

In countries like Europe and other places in the world, the women are supposed to be in the kitchen and the men working. There is this gap between men and women. The women have little access to parliamentary and executive power women also have less education than men. Women in European countries get less money than men and get few good jobs according to Gender Inequality in Politics. In the book Gender Inequality in Politics, The reason for gender inequality is “in the patriarchal structure of the cultural background of every ethnicity, nation or people.”

There are only ten countries in the world where women have full equal rights. According to the first paragraph of The wire “ Belgium, France, Denmark, Latvia, Luxembourg, Sweden, Canada, Iceland, Portugal and Ireland were the only ones offering full equal rights for men and women, at least from a legal perspective.” The United States ranked at14th place at a score of 91.3 the United States lost points because of the “lack of laws guaranteeing equal pay and equal pensions, as well as because of notoriously bad laws around parental leave”. According to the wires in the second paragraph.

We want the world to be equal where everyone is treated the same. In culture and religions, the male is the one who has to provide for the family while the wife stays at home taking care of the children.  In countries, Like Europe, women have very little political say. In the entire world, there are ten countries where women have their full rights. We women can make a difference we just have to work hard. Keep our heads up until we make it.
