Completing a puzzle, passing a writing exam, winning a sports championship game, or being wealthy are different types of success. Happiness is an outcome of success. The literary definition of success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Even though the word could mean different things depending on who you ask, the meaning of success will always be relatively similar. You can describe success as doing something well or as it was intended to, with the feeling of content.

To begin, someone's success could be passing a writing exam they worked hard to study for. It would bring the person a feeling of accomplishment, relief, and joy. The writer put a lot of effort into the exam which they received a good score on, making them feel successful. Due to the examinee working hard, they were able to complete the exam with a high score, they felt complacency. So, a person's exam score is a form of success.

Although one might consider success as something huge and nameworthy, this would not always be the case. Generally speaking, many people only describe success where one would live a lavish life, wealthy, own a large house, etc.. Success could be a small thing as well. For example, completing a puzzle could be successful for someone. It would make them feel happy while feeling extraordinary. Therefore, success does not have to be something big; moreover, it could be something as small as creating a paper heart.

To add on, success could also be winning an important game, like the Super Bowl. The football team would feel successful for winning a known game. The teams' reputation would grow; furthermore, they would become more known and famous. The emotions of excitement, happiness, and satisfaction the players would go through is a form of success itself. Consequently, something as big as winning a well known sports game is also success.

To reiterate, success means doing well on something, and the feeling of satisfaction that goes along with it. No matter the action or importance, it solely depends on one's opinion of what they consider success as. You can kick a soccer ball in the goal and win for the school game or live in a mansion with more money than you could use in a lifetime, and the action still counts as success if someone believes it is. As long as you feel happy about yourself, it could be success itself. What would you count as success or describe the meaning as?
