Throw out the bag of chips, the can of Coke, and the delectable glazed donuts on the kitchen table starting today. Good nutrition is not only a way to start living, but it is also a way to start thriving. Many studies have shown that the most successful people eat healthily, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Anna Wintour, and Michelle Obama. Each of these people can boast of incredible accomplishments, and their healthy habits are a contributing factor. Anyone who aspires to live a successful lifestyle will benefit from being a little healthier (Johansson). People who can execute tasks, run a mile every morning, and move effortlessly are selecting healthier food choices. In Patel’s words, "[W]e really are what we eat—much more than we'd like to admit. What we eat determines our energy levels, productivity, and focus.” Every person is preoccupied with several priorities on a daily basis. Many procrastinators feel that after nine hours of sleep, they are only fatigued because of "lack of sleep." One of the most prevalent causes of an unproductive day is not only a bad diet but also skipping breakfast:

The first step is to make breakfast a part of your morning routine. Too many highly motivated (and busy!) people skip this meal, figuring they'll grab a snack later on when they have the chance. Unfortunately, by the time "later" arrives, you'll be too hungry to make a healthy decision (that Danish in the break room looks pretty tasty when your brain is crying out for sugar). These choices cause energy spikes and crashes that can ruin your day (Patel). The best way for individuals to include breakfast in their routine is by meeting all their nutritional needs through making a simple meal. The majority of individuals believe that the larger the breakfast portion size, the better. This is frequently assumed to be true for all meals, including lunch and dinner. The main reason many refuse to eat breakfast is that it is often associated with an opportunity cost. Breakfast preparation and consumption consume time that could be spent working, sleeping, or otherwise. Begin with something simple like toast with avocado or blueberries blended into a bowl of porridge. The following meals are high in protein, fiber, fruit, and healthy fats, which will keep you full until your next meal and are easier to prepare.

Including all food groups in the food pyramid is one of the most important aspects of healthy nutrition. Meat, poultry, vegetables, fruits, carbs, dairy, oil, water, and vitamins play imperative roles in the human body. Every day, everyone should make it a priority to incorporate all areas of the dietary pyramid. Each food group contains a variety of nutrients and vitamins that can aid in the healthy functioning of the human body. Although eating healthy is something to do every day, it is also necessary to give in to cravings. The principle of living a healthy lifestyle is to maintain a healthy balance between good and "bad" food. When humans constantly say "no" to their cravings, they make room for inconsistent eating habits. Choosing a triple chocolate meltdown over a grilled chicken Caesar salad once in a while does not make someone unhealthy. Food is either good or bad in the health industry, which is toxic to the human mindset. Unfortunately, this belief forces a negative perspective on humans, causing them to feel guilty for eating a cheeseburger over a Subway sandwich. The healthiest way to approach less nutritious foods is by labeling them as "fun foods." Positive food labels instill confidence in the human brain when ingesting a meal. Notice how wine is depicted on several food pyramids. Wine represents the fact that not every day will be flawless. However, one should aim for a healthier diet in moderation. The most healthy way to be consistent is through the 80/20 rule. Humans can treat themselves two times a week to a less nutritious meal by 20%. For the majority of the week, the human body should be consuming healthy food for approximately 80% of the whole week. As a result, humans will become more motivated and consistent in maintaining a healthy way of eating. What we consume in our bodies affects the way we think and the way we live. The benefits of good nutrition not only cause positive outcomes within us but also in our waking reality. If more opportunities, healthier relationships, and a leaner body are something a human aspires to have, then a healthier meal is the best way to go.
