Essay Sample on Joe Biden Biography

Joe Biden is one of many presidents. Currently our president today, now I will show you Joe's young childhood, from years growing up, to his family, then off to his political career and achievements. 

Joe Biden is the 46th president and is the current president in office. He is alive, health appears to be healthy but he is older. Joe is 79 years old with his birthday in November on the 20. Born in 1942, Scranton PA. Joe Biden grew up the oldest of four, in a Catholic family. Joe has two brothers and a sister. Joe  married Neilia Hunter on August 27, 1966. Joe and Neilia had three Children together, one girl and two boys. Neilia later died in a car accident with their daughter, and the two boys were critically injured. He then later married Jill Jacobs in 1977. Joe and Jill Biden are still married and have one daughter with her. Joe Biden's mother is Eugenia Biden and his father is Joseph Robinette Biden Sr. Joe has 7 grandchildren from his two sons.

Joe Biden's education consisted of high school and different colleges. In 1961 Joe attended the Archmere Academy for his senior year and graduated. He was on the baseball team and the football team. Then Joe went off to college and attended the University of Delaware in Newark, then graduated in 1965 with two majors in history and political science and a minor in english. After a couple years he then went to law school. The school was Syracuse University and he graduated in 1968. After that, Joe's political career took off. He became a senator at age 30 in January of 1973. In 1981 Joe became a ranking minority member of the senate judiciary committee. In 1984 he became a Democratic floor manager for the comprehensive crime control act. After being elected for the senate in 1973 he was reelected in 1978, 1984, 1990, 1996, 2002, and 2008. Joe became a candidate in the election for president in 2008 but when he saw Obama's numbers he later then dropped out of the race and soon ran for vice president after. Obama actually asked and wanted him to be vice president. They won and his term was from 2009- 2013.  After that in 2013 he reran and won again with Obama and ran in the vice president spot for another 4 years until 2017. He then ran for president again in 2019 or November, and then won and took office in 2020. He ran against Donald Trump and in the end Joe won with 306 and Trump with 232. His running mate was Camelia Harris.

Joe's accomplishments consist of a lot but he is still in office and still has to make more decisions. He rejoined the Paris Climate Accord, to help global warming. Biden rejoined the UN Human Rights Council, to help “realize everyone has rights”. Ended the war in Afghanistan after 20 years and 2 trillion dollars, which some might ask how he just did it, which is not true. It was the presidents and administration before him that also helped that out alot and basically gave him the finish line if you ask me. Not to put Biden out of the game but it wasn't all Biden that ended the war. But other things, he did increase affordable housing, stood for equality for women/minorities and opportunity for employment.Passed “the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package”(Olean Times Herald). He provided debt relief for farmers,and restored national wildlife areas. Overall the historic view of this president isn't really time to tell but based on records at the current approval rate he isn't looking too good. There have been many times he has been caught on camera not knowing what to say and mumbling gibberish people say. He is a good president but there has been better, much better before him.

All in all Joe Biden is our president as of today and will be until he runs again next campaign. Now you have heard about Joe as his young years then grew up to office and now sitting in the white house as president, with many achievements.
