I decided to call my City Tropica located in Honolulu, Hawaii. I wanted it to be more of a coastal city near the water. Also, the city is welcoming Homebase products with little trade and different traditional cultures. Tropica city is about unification, growth, and representation of one another. The layout of my city is closed together with grocery stores, libraries, hospitals, doctors' offices, malls, parks, recreational centers, houses, apartments, and local restaurants. Tropica city has affordable living. It provides services for those who need help with bills and groceries. The transportation throughout the city consists of city buses, Uber services, bike rides, and cars.
Structures of the grocery stores will be medium to large sizes. It is Self-checkout cashiers and In-person cashiers. For Cleanliness, hand sanitizer stations with wipes are throughout the store. The libraries are small and consist of books of all ages with a computer lab. The hospitals are larger structures due to the capacity to take care of patients and have extra space background case natural disasters strike to provide shelter. Small doctors' offices for daily checkups are next to the hospital for easy transportation if a patient has a severe case of sickness or needs to go to do medical examinations . The recreational buildings are medium-sized buildings for town events, meetings, and shelters in case of emergencies. The malls are large size buildings with local sellers of their design in business and worldwide brands in the mall like Journeys, Nike, or Torrid. The malls will also have a shelter Under the mall in case of a natural disaster. All local restaurants Our small buildings because they are close together for citizens can have the option to go to either one.
Apartments in this city are the largest out of all the other buildings. However, the spacing inside is minimum, except the apartments on the corner of the buildings have large spacing. There are twenty-six floors and five apartment buildings. Each room has two to three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a living space depending on the family size where individuals live together. A smoke alarm, fire hydrant, and Flooding alert to notify all residents. Elevators and staircases are included. The houses are on the outskirts of city limits of fifteen miles. The price to rent an apartment is four hundred dollars a month. Which is paid directly to the landlord owner. Medium-sized buildings with large spacing on the inside. Rooms in the house vary based on family size. The pricing can range from forty-six thousand to two hundred thousand dollars. Renting prices are fifteen hundred to two thousand a month.
The water source comes from the ocean but goes through a desalination filtered system to turn salt water into fresh water. The sewage line also goes through a system of separating waste and fluids into clean water. That goes through a desalination process. The waste will go through a decomposing process eliminating the smell and waste itself.
In case of emergencies like flooding all buildings will have an Escape suite on top of every building to stay above ground. It includes emergency packets that contain first Aid kits, life jackets, underwater goggles, air tanks, and inflatable boats. Sirens will be at the top and inside the inflatable boat to notify the National Guard if the situation gets worst.
Transportation Systems in the city has a bus route that drives throughout the city 24 hours a day. Uber and Lyft car services are provided only during a certain time on weekends. Bikes, mopeds, and motorcycles are allowed on the road during a certain time also. All street lights will have a camera to catch accidents or red light runners.
The city's power sources are solar panels and electric generators and charges in case of cloudy days. Also during thunderstorms, every building will have a generator to power back up during the storm.
My house will be on the outskirts of city limits but 25 miles away. The layout of the house is a large structure with six rooms and two bathrooms. Three on top and three at the bottom. There are two guest rooms on the first floor with a bed, television, and closet. My room has a master suite on the second floor. With a walk-in closet, bathroom, and lounging area with an open view of the sea. On the top floor, is the workout room that has all the workout equipment. The last room on the top is office space for my job that has all my paperwork and computer. The last room on the first floor is a gaming room. The kitchen area is mainly outside but covered by a balcony. Finally, the lounging room has a built-in couch on the floor and a seventy-five-inch screen on the wall.
