Do you have that one friend or person that rolls differently and has a different personality than others?  They might be the type you would like to keep a grasp on and cherish the ways of life. My personality is special. I'm very bold in a way. A very fun, cool, unique person once you get to know me. This is what makes me me. My character type is a natural-born leader, built off of loyalty and respect. It's the way I am. Furthermore, my personality follows my characteristics; I might seem like a tough, quiet person at first, but this is the way the universe formed me. Once you get past my barriers, it's a new world inside of me. My personality is very creative and charming in a way. Most of my personality traits come from many things. For example, I hate being wet like cats because the feeling of not being dry bothers me. Including my OCD, the slightest error makes me go into anxiety mode. My personality is quite diverse from most people. As a person, I have many strengths and weaknesses, but overall that is what makes me exceptional. One of my most prized inner talents is creating and imitating animal sounds, specifically presenting dogs, dinosaurs, and a few noises.

My greatest strength is that I can get stuff done efficiently. You can count on me to get it fulfilled. Another strength is my defense mechanism. Since I'm such a loyal and helpful person in response, just imagine how protective of my friends and family I am. If anyone is being bullied or hurt, I will get to it fast. If someone just needs me to be there for them, no matter what it is (as long as it is not dangerous), I will do it. One of my biggest weaknesses is my dictatorship. Since I'm such a leader it can overpower at times, which is a common goal for every leader. Forgiveness is another major weakness I have. Even despite hitting rock bottom at times and people hurting me, I can keep pushing, however, it takes a lot to forgive. I'm not going in-depth, but if someone breaks the loyalty bond, it's hard to recover from. There was one instance where my strength of loyalty emerged and I learned to step in when needed.

One of the times that one of my strengths emerged was not pretty long ago. I was in homeroom, which normally was a nice, relaxing place to be. I thought, like any other day, it would be a friendly space. In the third or fourth week of school, the group of boys was obviously being disrespectful to a fellow student. As the tension grew day by day, students harassing and insulting him, I had to step in! Then, the so-called head leader was named Jacob. As a loyal person, I stuck up against Jacob and his friends. Jacob was saying slurs and not being open-minded about other people's opinions and lifestyles, specifically about someone in the class.

“I don't have a problem with trans people, just that kind” said the so-called leader.

“Well It is not for you choose” I said

“Just shut up and respect him” Anonymous student

The class was so heated, I could cook up a whole barbeque. Another student and I worked together to force them down; but as always, fighting back is a challenge. In the streak of aggression, everyone's feelings intensified at lunch.

As a result, I had a death stare and I was minding my own business, keeping an eye out for Jacob. He came over to my table and turned it up a notch creating a match of intellectuals. I was much more educated than him about the issue. He tried to threaten me with his friend's presence. They spoke of disturbing opinions and words, however, few difficult words were exchanged.

“He is not a he. You can’t change who you are” said Jacob.

‘This is not your opinion, it’s 2021!” I shot back.

“ I don't support it. It is not natural” Jacob rudely said.

“If you don’t like him, leave him alone! We are all the same. It's not a personality; it's nothing major,” I peacefully responded.

Shortly after all the bashing, facts flying, and harassment, it dropped.

At the end of the verbal fight, I stuck my ground to shield myself and the student. The fight broke up, and my friend and I were walking away.

“Yes, victory,” I said inside my head.

All of a sudden, Jacob came out of nowhere and pushed my best friend. In a split of a second, my hand moved so swiftly to block Jacob's further attack. In that scene, it got pretty ugly. Suspended by the force of my hand against his shoulder, he will forever remember these words.

"If you ever touch my friend or the other student, I will be on you," I said roughly.

That day changed my life. I'm a superhero in disguise at the moment.

What I learned that day is that I'm much more capable than I could ever imagine. I not only fought against a group of boys but stood up and fought for what is right. I'm the type of person that is willing to do whatever it takes. This will affect me in the future by making my character bolder. Some people may see it in a different way, but others will appreciate this skill I have to give. Every time my parents talk to me they say I was born to be a leader. It's my job as a person now and I slowly understand what it means and takes.
