Mining and Its Impact on the Environment Persuasive Essay Example

The mining industry is a great subject of controversy. To me, the mining industry does not affect the environment. The reasons are I feel that the area where the miners are mining is extremely safe and does not affect the ecosystem. I will now give reasons why I believe what I think. 

One of the reasons why I feel like the ecosystem is not getting affected by the miners is that it doesn't affect the wildlife. The wildlife is extremely protected and the government makes sure that the wildlife is protected. The government is also trying to improve the amount of waste and resources. Waste and resources can be good but in this setting, they are used as a negative outlook. That is one reason why miners are not abusing the ecosystem and hurting it. 

Water is something that everyone uses. Yet the miners for years used water to help dirt get off of precious rocks and to help them mine. Nowadays, the miners are using less water-intensive methods because the government knows it's hurting the people and wasting resources. The government recognizes this and that's why they are doing an act stopping the water method and trying to improve the environment.  

The government is a huge help in this way to preserve the mines. They have found ways to help wildlife, stop the use of waste, and reuse resources, and most of all they helped crack down on the water that the miners used to help clean off the minerals. The government even helped out with purifying the air! They monitor the air so that the carbon levels don't get too high. I feel like the government has done everything and won't stop trying to improve the lives of miners and help the resources.

In conclusion, The diamond miners are not hurting the economy, they are just doing what they are told and what they have done for many years. The miners aren't hurting the environment per se, people are just taking it out of proportion and are not looking at the positive outlook of what the government is trying to do to help stop the environment from collapsing. I feel like the government has done a lot of good things to help the environment and to help us still get our diamonds safely and healthily.
