Mistakes are now a common thing in the world. Sometimes people even regret their past mistakes now, but little did they know that it can also lead to new discoveries. It may sound comical, but mistakes now can be the reason we have astonishing creations. Therefore, without a mistake, there is no discovery. 

To start off, mistakes can lead to unfamiliar places. According to the passage, “Lost cities, Lost Treasures,” Schliemann was a person who was exploring the lost city of Troy but strayed farther from his goal to something amazing. In paragraph 2, Schliemann had a youthful sense of adventure and curiosity which led to profit and the gold rush. He was assured that he knew how far to dig and where to get to, although he was unaware of his miscalculations of his destination. Still, even if Calvert, who also was based on the adventure, he and Schliemann still found fortunes such as jewels, etc. Based on this information, mistakes can guide you to novel places. 

Additionally, mistakes can create new things. According to the passage “How a Melted Bar of Chocolate Changed Our Kitchens” Percy Spencer is an individual who made a dainty treat with his own accident. In paragraph 11-13, Percy Spencer at age 16, handled a machine at his family’s shop, but did not have the time to be trained. Another individual, Raytheon, also made a mistake, but with a radio. In paragraph 15, Raytheon manufactured magnetic devices but then suddenly led to his creation “The Microwave”. His accident also led to what Percy Spencer's fault he made, melted chocolate. This concludes how errors can make new creations. 

To recap, errors can make new findings. The mistakes can lead to creations and new locations. Mistakes can get out of hand, but if it is something worth learning, it will not be something with regret.
