As everyone has recently said, ”Less homework is good for students” .Because students also have to do other activities in their daily lives .Though students need the times to do other things which are not the homework, some teacher is still giving them lots of homework everyday. If teachers give them the times instead of lots of homework, they will have better learning performances .Although some people may not believe that giving less homework is good for students, colleges and universities are now giving less homework in order to give students times to make something which they are good at and these will affect them in the good way.

One of the primary reason that free time makes students well-rounded because it allows them to take a look at their surroundings .It is unnecessary for students that they have to sit and pay attentions only in the classroom. The lesions are everywhere around us. Once, John Holt have said, ”Learning is not just only the product of homework .Learning is the product of the activity of learner” .What this mean is that the students’ knowledges and results are not depending on lots of homework .By using free time to look around their selves, they will discover their motivation and appreciate their ability.

Furthermore ,giving less homework makes students better rested and more focused. Apparently, whole students are tired after school because of the combination of lots of homework and thinking about the lessons for each day. Rachel Basinger concludes that it is essential if students are rested, they will be more focused .Additionally, when they are fully focused from enough rest, they can do their best and they will be happier than normal .In the other words, having less homework affects students in a good way. If they are rested and focused, they will enjoy their day, they can improve themselves, they can do their best and finally, they can achieve their goals. These make students more happy and energetic.

Though less homework contributes to students getting more time to improve themselves, some people can argue that some students may use these reasons to pretend that they do not need to do any homework or pay attention in the class .However, the major thing that everyone should have is responsibility .All students should be responsible, they need to improve their lives. Less homework is not just for students, it is for everyone whether they are responsible.

Given the numerous benefits of having less homework, school and the teachers should understand and consider about free time for students to look at their surroundings and free  time to rest. The time is a crucial thing that everyone should not ignore. Thus, students can produce great results if they stop wasting time.
