The Golden Life in Co-Educational Schools Essay Example

Schools are one such organisations or a place where young children go to acquire knowledge, and learn few basic manners such as respecting elders, helping parents in household chores etc. These skills and manners would benefit them and help them to lead a successful life. This would make them quite independent as they can take care of themselves without depending on anyone. The co- educational schools encourage both girls and boys to learn together.

There are many advantages of student learning in a co-educational school. Both the girls and boys learn how to gel up and mingle with each other and learn to adjust with each other’s behaviour way of living etc. They do not develop any inferiority feelings towards each other. And they also learn to respect each other’s feelings and emotions and they would help each other during difficult times without any hesitation. This would also help them to adapt themselves to any surrounding where there are both girls as well as boys.  Neither will they feel hesitant nor feel uncomfortable in each others presence.

The main disadvantage of students learning in all girls or all boys school is that the children would not be exposed to an environment in which both girls and boys learn, fight and enjoy together. They would have friends of one type of gender only therefore they might feel difficult to get themselves adjusted in places where there are both boys and girls. They might not respect each others feelings and they might develop inferiority Complex towards Each Other which would lead to hatred and fights among themselves.

Therefore I strongly feel it is better if children from the childhood study in coeducational schools rather than all girls are all boys school so that they would respect and develop the knowledge of equality and understand that there is no difference between them and should not disregard anyone considering them to be a girl or a boy. I am getting education from co-ed schools will also teach them the principle of universal brotherhood.
