Fruit Gushers aren’t the best solely just based off of their health benefits,this snack is enjoyable because of the variety and diversity it provides for their consumers. For a snack to be a great snack it has to not only taste good but it should come in a variety of flavors so that way that one flavor doesn’t serve as a one trick pony. To ensure that doesn't happen Gushers made sure to provide variety with their snacks by creating a wide “ range of Fruit Gushers flavors(General Mills 2022)! ”. This exhibits how the company General Mills makes sure that they don’t solely rely on one flavor for their snack because by having variety customers will have no problem finding a flavor they’ll love. This also shows how the company cares about their customers because they cater towards a wide range of people by having more options of flavors available for their consumers. General Mills caters towards their customers not just with variety but with diversity because of how people of many versatile eating habits can still feel included and enjoy the snack. Inclusion is an important representation for the consumers because in this day and age many teens and kids don’t find comfort and acceptance with other kids or people, rather they find comfort in other things like food or in other terms comfort food. So the fact that General Mills made a snack that can provide comfort and inclusion for their consumers is what separates them from other snack brands which makes them the superior snack. Fruit Gushers exemplifies their diversity by not only demonstrating their inclusion but also by catering those people’s eating habits due to this snack being vegan, kosher, and vegetarian friendly. General Mills came out with many different statements saying how “Fruit Gushers appear to be vegan and vegetarian friendly due to not containing animal by products since 2019”(Kane 2021). They also spoke about how “Fruit Gushers are OU certified Kosher candy”(Kane 2021) and that “Yes Fruit Gushers are Gluten Free”(Kane 2021). This exhibits how diversity is important because no one is excluded and General Mills makes sure to cater towards every diet for the benefit of the consumer and customers.
