Sunshine, exercise, and fresh air are the best remedies for a hectic day or an overworked mind. Even if you're busy and harried, you should set out at least 30 minutes each day to spend time outside. It's free, simple, and one of the most effective ways we can improve our general health and well-being. I chose this topic for my essay given that I feel that the number of people who stay inside all day has increased in recent years, and I am very passionate about exercise and the outdoors. I go outside for at least 30 minutes a day, not only because I enjoy nature: but it also improves my wellbeing. This essay discusses why going outside is very beneficial both mentally and physically.

As a result of being outside, your brain generates more ideas and you are more inclined to feel creative. Previous research has demonstrated that exposure to nature helps with attention (an effect known as the Attention Restoration Theory). Spending time outdoors can also improve sleep. You get a burst of oxygen from fresh air, and you get vitamin D from sunlight. Both of these substances increase your energy levels and help you wake up. They help strengthen your immune system, making you less susceptible to colds, viruses, and other ailments that make you feel tired. A key benefit is when you walk among trees or simply gaze at them, your blood pressure decreases and lowers the stress chemicals cortisol and adrenaline. Scientists have shown that being in nature simply makes us happy.

Staying inside can put a lot of strain on your spine, which can contribute to back pain and poor posture. Sitting puts a lot of strain on your back muscles, neck, and spine, and slouching exacerbates the problem.Bad posture might put you at danger of having circulatory issues, as well as digestive issues. When you slouch, you are squeezing your stomach, which includes your digestive tract. Repeating this process will damage your metabolism, making it harder to metabolize food properly for digestion. You may become nutritionally deficient as a result of this. Spending lots of time inside can limit your body's supply of beneficial gut flora, which can cause a variety of problems, such as worry and insomnia.

Breathing in phytoncides (airborne compounds generated by plants) is proven by scientists to boost our levels of white blood cells, which helps us fight infections and diseases.

In conclusion, this essay has discussed the key advantages of spending time outside as well as the disadvantages of being indoors all day. Scientists have shown that spending time outside promotes happiness, creativity, and sleep. As a result, at least 30 minutes of your day should be spent outside. Staying inside all day, on the other hand, strains your muscles, reduces your body's supply of good gut flora, and increases anxiety and insomnia. With this in mind, it has been demonstrated that spending only 30 minutes outside can boost your wellbeing in a variety of ways.
